Seems Bioware is slow to learn...

Yeah, I figured there wasn't enough stuff in there to warrant the $15 price tag. Hopefully, it'll get a price reduction at some point. Maybe once they release more DLC, they'll bundle them all together for a discount.
The Original game isn't worth the money either, why should the DLC be so?...
Haven't played many shooters have you?

Good point.
i'm not buying it either - the "review" only confirmed my fears, even if it was a bit too biased for my taste. more repetitive fights, fetch quests and limited roleplayability*? no, thank you. sadly, story alone isn't worth my time/money.
* see? i'm not even mentioning the UI/controls/tac cam... oh, wait

Eh, I disagree with this, but I still think the DLC is overpriced. It's basically just adding another region like the Hinterlands or Emprise Du Lion, meaning that it should be worth what they're worth.
The game as it is costs $60 and has, what, 10 major regions? Ignoring the main story-line missions, that means each region is worth around $6. Even if you want to argue that this particular region has more special content than the other ones, that brings the appropriate price to between $7 and $10. Not $15.
But, of course, Bioware wants to make money and they know a decent number of people are going to shell out $15 to get the new DAI content as soon as possible. Which is fine. But if they want my money for this content, eventually, they're going to have to bring that price down to what the content is actually worth.

Isn't Bioware's genius simply mind-blowing?

I wouldn't count on that, even with huge discount on ME 2-3 games when you get one for 5$, DLCs still cost another +-50$ which is ridiculous and there is no buy game with all dlcs bundle well at least not in origin store (I don't know about other sources).
Kinda disappointing. I was hoping for something more story heavy to round out all the exploration, maybe fill out those empty zones kinda like how Citadel "filled out" the ME3 interactions. I think I'll skip this one.
They're trolling us. Bioware is having fun with us. "They don't like fetch quests and big empty maps? We'll MAKE them like fetch quests and big empty maps!" and proceed to force-feed it to us.
But seriously, I think this was just cut content, since there are no cutscenes, as far as I have seen, no new party banter, aside from them commenting, individually, about the environment. Plus the name of the map... "Frostback Basin", I believe it was called, reminds me of an area briefly shown through a save game file in the pre-alpha video, called "Frostback Pass", and I have an unfounded, crackpot theory that the two are somehow connected...
bioware is not what it used to. Too many good devs have left the company. It has really gone down hill after the doctors have left.

I am planning to skip this one as well, and most of the DLC's in this game until they fix what I view as fundamental flaws with how skyhold, most of the inquisition content, and the other cut content was handled

Aaaaah-pa-pa-pa-papp! We don't like big maps? [looks around confused].....No no no... We DO like big maps. Filled with towns and dungeons and lots of interesting content (NOT including goddamn shards and ****).
Having to run 7 miles over barren sand dunes to pick a single elfroot - THAT we do not like.
I'd pay $15,- for a decent patch for DAI to get rid of flying giants, shitty tac-cam, chars and AI falling and flying through bridges and scaffolds in battles, better end-game, bigger battles/sieges, better DAMP.

Thank you so much, Dubya75, for linking the reddit post here!
I cannot believe how this turned out to be ...
I was adamant to not buying anything. But I wanted to wait if they will be successful in fixing the game and I then wanted to buy it one more time for PS4 together with all DLC - at the end of the 2015 or something like that. The only reason I had some last positive thoughts left, basically, was because I had some last bit of trust in BioWare or rather the devs. I thought they read their own forum! I was confident they had understood by now, that some very specific things weren't embraced at all by their fanbase ... and that there are some mistakes they really should not emphasise even more!
GOD ... MORE FETCH QUESTS - YIPPIE!
EA does not care like always and Bioware has no pull here or what? USELESS ...
