Ditto.
I still can't believe they try to sell us $15 DLC for €15. Seriously?
I'd rate this DLC to be worth less than 5 bucks.
I doubt I'll ever pay full price for any BioWare product again, in fact it is doubtful that I'll get any BioWare games ever again. They lost me as a customer.

Just to help people make an informed decision about purchasing this DLC, here is an impression from someone who's already completed it...
Seems Bioware is slow to learn...
What a shame. Fifteen bucks for a new map and more fetching? The Outlast DLC was like nine bucks and it was heavily story oriented.
But whatever. They won GOTY with DAI so naturally they will progress in this direction. The only thing that will stop them is if people stop buying their product, but that won't happen so *shrug* The only thing I can do is back away from DA. I still look forward to ME4 but I'll wait for streamers and reviews before buying it just in case some of DA's team "success" leaked into their project somehow.
In the meantime, W3, Pillars of Eternity, and Bloodborne here I come! ![]()

From the vids I saw it looks this DLC simply combines existing assets with an okay but not particularly amazing narrative. Worth it if you loved the main game and crave more, forgettable if you didn't. Fifteen bucks is just a little too much for an impulse buy, though.

Good god ! What's up with this price ?!
Did you notice that with each BioWare game, the price goes up ?
In ME2, Lair of the Shadow Broker, wich was very nice, added something meaningful to the game, and funny, was less than 10$ (or 800BP)
In DA2, the 'relevant' DLC were the same price.
In ME3, Omega and Citadel price went to 15$ (or 1200BP). While they were nice (especially Citadel, Omega is debatable), their price tended to push the limits of reasonable...
And now, you have another DLC that costs 15$, which content doesn't add very much in regards to the game. So the quality goes down, and the price goes up ?
Sure, it can add a lot of gameplay hours, what with an entire new area to explore, but it still doesn't justify this price...
And don't get me started with the fact that with the cancellation of Bioware Points, European (and maybe others from non dollar locations) players get screwed !
Before, 1200BP were 15$ but 12€.
Now it's 15$ and 15€.
Yes the exchange rate went down a bit, and yes this is the conversion applied to basically all games, but still too much is too much.
With this DLC, do we have to expect a nice meaningful DLC that adds real content to be at 20$ in the near future ??

Each day i lose more and more faith in this franchise. $15 and nothing innovative added and awful early reviews.
It feels desperate and saddens me. Was this just an order from corporate saying get the game out the door and let's package that unfinished region as dlc.
I was hoping it would be a free patch. Especially since there's a general consensus that it was just an unfinished area at the time of Inquisition's release. At least the Deluxe Edition players should get it for free.

Count yourself lucky. This $15 DLC is showing up as costing me $25 just because I'm Australian. (And for the record, on today's exchange rate US$15 = AU$19.)
Unsurprisingly, I ain't buying it.

I'm lucky that the exchange rate is USD1 = €1.08 today. Not so long ago it was at 1.43.

Unfortunately they obviously don't set their prices on the exchange rate or I wouldn't be paying anymore than $20.

yeah I already heard thanks for the warning folks
DA:I was already a disappoinment for me but I was hoping that Bioware listened to feedback (less fetch quests and huge lifeless areas and more focus on a good story and characters)
seems like they don't care
Such a waste of a good franchise
If ME4 is anything like DA:I I'm dumping Bioware altogether
I absolutely hate this Skyrim wannabe direction

Yes, I know. Right now the exchange rate makes the price almost fair... not so long ago I paid 43% more. ^^

screencaps? if you screencapped it, made it pretty, took it to tumblr...I know for a fact that every negative comment on facebook and twitter gets deleted right away - almost immediately!
Ask Rawgrim about that! He wrote about it on the BSN and made the experience himself in person! He wrote something ... I believe a bugfix request or something like that ... and it got deleted!
Yesterday it was 19.95 on xbox marketplace? Unless ur talking about PC..Count yourself lucky. This $15 DLC is showing up as costing me $25 just because I'm Australian. (And for the record, on today's exchange rate US$15 = AU$19.)

PC. I went into Origin this morning expecting to pay $20, which seemed a fair and reasonable price based on the exchange rate for the last few weeks, and got $25 instead. Though I did at least confirm that it is indeed AU$25 and not US$25.

yep I agree this dlc was made after DA:I came out and still they ignored all the complaints (fetch quests, no focus on a good story)?
seems like with all the GOTY awards Bioware thinks that this skyrim wannabe approach is a good thing
I really hope that ME4 is nothing like DA:I otherwise Bioware will lose a customer

I think I'll just wait for a sale with this DLC off by at least 50%. I'm just not into the whole open world thing because it bores me after an hour and fetch quest still exists so that's another negative.

Well isn't this wonderful.
How much or if I like the content is my business. I bought the game. Now bought the dlc as soon as I saw it (after checking several times today). And the content, I like it, I don't, doesn't matter. But it really really drives me crazy when the tech aspect of the game is sh*t.
I install the dlc. Click play. Game crash. ![]()
I get in the game, fight one giant, move on (through vast empty spaces... again, wonderful) to another fight (specifically the fade touched lurker) and bam! game just goes crazy... characters kind of freeze in place and can barely move... "luckily" so are the mobs so I basically AA them to death, then have to reload game.
I walk for another 10 minutes through an empty map, pretty, but empty, only to find what I think it's an early indication this map will be heavy on the "jumping puzzle" crap cool stuff I hate love so much in any game (I know some people love them, good for them, that's irrelevant for me).
At this point I just gave up. I'll go back tomorrow and try to finish the dlc, hoping that there won't be more attrocious bugs all over.
Frankly I don't understand how things work. In all the jobs I have had so far in my life, when there was something to do... you did it. There was no such thing as "it's too difficult" "it's a new engine and it's so hard to work on it" "I don't want to do it anymore waaaa"... That just doesn't happen. Except at big game developer companies it seems. (also thinking of a different developer of a mmo i played quite a lot, only to give up when the level of sh*t towards customers reached epic proportions)
Bioware seems to have spent all budget money on writers and artists for design. And then hired coders who are still in school, or couldn't finish school... or something lol. They seem completely incompetent and incapable of fixing their product, or at the very least not fk it up more when releasing additional content or patches. Each freakin' patch borks something new, and arguably makes things worse then before. It's insane ![]()
If things continue like this, the black emporium will be released in 8 months, and when using the appearance change option in it, it will reset the character to default appearance (for a decent 5$ real money). Asked to address the issue BW will say "if you don't want to lose your char appearance, don't use the thing" and then go in complete silent mode for another 5 months. That sounds like a "dumb and dumber" sequel doesn't it? Well, I'm starting to think that's what actually best describes BW's tech capabilities.
Oh and just to mention this so it's clear. I've praised this game and it's content all over this forum. And to my friends. Telling people it's worth buying. And I still think that. But for fk sake, when it comes to the bajillion bugs and crashes and quality flopping up and down with each patch due to horrible optimisation of coding or whatever reason, I'm just... I can't... ugh! ![]()

there's no way I'd pay for this dlc when this game should have shipped with at least one or two decent sub-plots aside from the main campaign. However, it does not have a single thing like that other than shard hunting and lame repeatables. Not a single interesting sub-quest, even the companion side-quests were ridiculously cut short.
Just no. I'm not paying for something that should have been there. Sorry bioware, but no thanks. Especially with all the bugs and stability issues we've had to put up with... this is as good as simply insulting us I feel.
Just no. Not gonna happen. Crap like this is ruining gaming. I'm not supporting bs like this.
