Jaws of Hakkon is overpriced and not worth buying

It's up to the individual to decide if it's overpriced or not.
If they feel they want to experience the DLC right away and they enjoy it then that person will feel they got there money's worth.
If someone doesn't feel that way they will either wait for a sale or just not buy the DLC.
It's all about choice. Most people though seem to make the choice of coming here to ****** and whine about it rather than to move on if they are not happy with the product.

This advice was more for people who dont mindlessly throw money at things because of whats written on the title. Sadly, EA loves customers like you and this is probably why the DLC isnt that good to begin with.Yeah thanks for useless advice.I will buy this DLC anyway becasue i'm big dragon age fan
This is a review from a dragon age fan to other dragon ages fans. Nothing more.

I would really like it if people stopped acting like $15 is a fortune.
Geez, that's not even half a night out.
That's an quarter of a game's price. While not expensive on it's own, it's an really steep price for an side quest DLC.

I like Bioware. I don't think I'll be buying this. The impression I'm getting is that it's basically just another area like the Hissing Wastes or Crestwood. Even if/when they drop the price it's not going to be high on my priority list.

All DLC except 'hahahaha, this wasn't really the ending'-DLC is side quest DLC. That, or it's a prelude to the next game (DLC like Arrival)
Besides, it's only $15. Like I said, not even half a night out. And that night is just a one time thing, then your money is gone. This DLC you can play forever if for some reason you'd want to (I doubt it though
It's the same thing with full prized games. People act like $60 for something they can, in theory play indefinetly, is a big deal, but at the same time easily drop $30 or more to wake up with a hangover the next morning.

Skipping this one and saving my money for Obsidian Entertainment, they know what do with it better than EA.
Same thing can be said about a prostitute....... not seeing the point of this post.

Hmm, if sold at 15 pounds then it's two pounds more expensive than 1600 bioware points which buys shadow broker & kasumi.
Bioshocks Infinite's Burial at sea DLC at 11.99
Dawnguard and Dragon Born are 13.99

Regardless of its price - if it isn't particularly enjoyable, don't see the need to lose my mods for it.
I'll stay on Patch 5 for now.

Omg, it's kinda pathetic how people whine about 15$ (it's probably gonna be about 13 euro or so here in Europe since it's £10), yet they spend the same or more daily for way worse things (booze, cigarettes, anyone?).
If you don't wanna buy it don't buy it. Simple as that. No need to make a post to whine about it. To each their own.

People shouldn't be defending this or the price sight unseen. I took the plunge with EA Access, so it was "only" $13.49, and I found even that to not be worth it.
In case you are unaware, this DLC is simply another zone you can go to and I'd say it's of average quality and size compared to the numerous other zones in the game. It's literally like all the other zones, with camps to get, shards to find, rifts to close...there is nothing new here. There is no companion based story and the zone's story itself is pretty average compared to all the other zones as I said.
The only "pros" are that it's a super high level zone with high level drops and stuff. Otherwise it does nothing for the main story or for your companion stories, and most of the zone is the standard fetch quests.
I was expecting a tight story based DLC like most of Bioware's DLCs, but I guess I shouldn't have had that expectation. Anyway, you all are warned. If you think $13.49 or $14.99 is worth it for a single zone, of which there are like 12 in the base game already, then go ahead.

Not seeing the point of your post either, does that make us even?
Exactly.... no point... so why post it?
Note: I'm not getting the DLC either but I'm sure people don't need to see me all over the place taking shots at EA or Bioware just because I decided not to buy a piece of DLC.

Do note that while 15$ is truly not much you can get on steam sales some epic games for that sum..
Skyrim Legendary edition was on sale for 13.5 $ on steam number of times already.
Civ V Complete was 7.5$ on sale already as well.
There are loads of RPGs out there for sale on steam each time they have those for example you could get BG:EE and BG2:EE on steam for like 5$ each.
So while 15$ is not much I can get number of games with all of their expansions on sale instead.

Value for money is value for money, whether it's $100, $15 or $1.
Though it seems like the problem with this DLC is less value for money and more that it's offering us more of what we already have a surfeit of.

I'm sure people would have rather spent that $15 on a hat.
A good hat cost well over $100. $15 is barely two meals at McDonald's. Look at it this way... Let's be generous and say $15 will get you two tickets to back to back Saturday matinees at the local movie theatre. So that's three to four hours of entertainment. So as long as this DLC gives you at least three to four hours of entertainment, you're getting your money's worth, and I'm willing to bet it's going to be longer than that. Plus, replay length. Several Inkys and you're looking at probably 25+ hours, so now we're down to well under $1/hour of entertainment. That's a helluva bargain.

Instead of instantly jumping to it's defense did anyone actually read the summery of the DLC in that thread yet?
Three to five cutscenes, zero new content for the companions (aka the best part of the game), a full new zone filled with the same fetch quests as all the other zones in the game and a semi-strong ending.
Of all the things Inquisition needed I think a new zone the size of Hinterlands was the least likely to be named. It wouldn't even make my list. The game need more content for the zones it already has. The main story and the big dungeons are the best part of the game. That's the sort of stuff I wanted from the DLC. Things that fix the games weaker parts, not add things it already has.

Geez, that's not even half a night out.
In my region it costs 1/2 of the base game, so for me it's a little bit too much just for additional map.
I'm saving up money for some story DLC with good companion content.
