Because there are no sales at the moment. There were though, i bought mine with 70% sale.
I have never seen a DLC on sale on PSN, A couple of months ago DA:O was 6.5 $ (equivalent) and Witch hunt was 13$. I was like WTF !!

That wasn't about you
I said your post was perfectly reasonable.
Oh. Just re-read what I missed.
We are cool again.

DLCs are on sale on PSN. I bought Legacy and MOTA for $5 each. I wish they were on sale more frequently but the opportunity will come.

I never get any good deals .... ![]()
I like it. And are the fade rifts harder than usual to anyone else? I'm playing on Nightmare and those fade rifts are kicking my ass.
Confused, I thought bioware said all DLC was gonna be free?
BioWare would never say such a thing!

You're thinking of Multiplayer DLC.

Heresy !!

You just have to keep your eyes wide open for them ![]()

Sorry folks, 2 hours in and it's worth 15 bucks already, the area is just awesome to look at, the avaar, may just be my new favorite people
Just got my butt kicked, somehow I got avvar and rift demons at the same time, on my way back to try again
Won't go into detail to avoid spoilers but many of the details in the landscape show a lot of work went into this
Rightly or wrongly, as DAI won 133 GOTYs off the back of open zones, I would not be surprised to see DLC follow that format.
(anyway, I'm not reading the reviews, I'll do that after I've finished the DLC...)
You just have to keep your eyes wide open for them
Well, GTA V was being sold for 25$, but I'd already purchased it for 45$ ... whatever, physical copies rule anyway ....
what over priced shithole do you live in? Cost $8.00 where I am.Whether something is "worth" $15 bucks is highly variable between people.
$15 = about 5 gallons of gas... or a quarter of a tank..
$15 = a meal for 3 people at McDonalds.
[b]$15 = a ticket for 1 person to see a 90 minute movie.[\b]
I will easily get this DLC. I love exploring and more content is always better. Considering the VAST amount of money I have to send to the government next month and get NOTHING for it in return... $15 bucks is a miniscule amount. I have bought games on Steam and gifted them to complete strangers that cost more.
Why should they? Apologists in this thread demonstrate you can just take 10% of your game, chop it up into a few DLC packs, and thereby double the price they can charge you?
It's not hard to understand sunk cost fallacy - you already paid $60 for a 100h (per one inquisitor playthrough) game, so paying another $15 for an extra 5h of gameplay makes total sense if that is the only way you can get the full experience.
As they say - "there is one born every minute"
Having been a gamer since the 70's, that doesn't really fly with me. A game that already had over 100 hours of gameplay used to be unheard of. Now you can get extra content consistently added to games you love? Yes please, not sure why this would be bad. It used to be you got whatever the game was that was put on the market. You want extra content? It's called a sequel. If the game was 200 hours and they added DLC would you still say you were paying extra for "the full game"?
If by "one born every minute" you mean entitled people that are never going to be happy no matter what a company does, then you are right.
As for why it's more of the same, I think it makes sense if this was cut content. Hopefully they have been working on something else in these past few months that's a bit meatier.
Don't hold your breath. The disconnected way the game was designed is awfully well suited for DLC like that.
Still, selling one zone for roughly a quarter of the original games prize is... bold.
Whew. Definitely overpriced for us Aussies. They want us to pay AU$25. (And fyi, on the exchange rate this morning - US$15 = AU$19).
I'd pay $25, even $30, for a fully-fledged expansion but not for this DLC.

Yeah, it seems that's all this game is good for unfortunately.
I have to agree, russian verison costs 800 and full game costs 1400. It's not worth it.

i wonder if we can flip on a VPN and buy in USD. who the heck did these pricing seriously. 10 to 15 dollars for a DLC is fine for me but 25 dollars?
I paid almost 100 dollars for DAI, somehow I don't think I'll get a quarter of the game from one DLC
New area with sidequests is all fine and dandy... But I worry the enemies will once again fall short when compared to my Knight-Enchanter. Are they tougher, smarter, are there more of 'em? Buying a sidequest DLC and once again cutting down all who come before me as easily as carving a cake - thus once more proving that I should be the True High King of Skyrim Thedas - doesn't seem like the wisest investment. I mean, do these barbaric heathens really need me to prove anything after what I did to Sethius Amladaris and his pseudo-Archdemon? Unlikely.

People are saying this DLC is actually insanely hard, even for knight enchanters.

Actually come to think of it, I'm not even sure that $25 is in Aussie dollars. I'm assuming that Origin shows it to us in AU$ but if that's in US$, it's even more of a rip off.
