WTF BIOWARE, why would tell a player to enchant an item, then leave no way to enchant anything?

There is no enchant item table, and no enchant item option at any current table so it's impossible to know wtf to do or what the hell this means.

How the frig do people seriouly even try to say this is acceptable and or a player is dumb for not knowing wtf this even means, or figure it out. This is almost as bad as the war table not having any instructions.

This is complete bullshit!

Enchantment?

ENCHANTMENT!

***

You use the modify weapon table and add a rune to a rune slot.  For master crafting, you just need to add fade touched whatever to a schematic that can be master crafted.

The biggest issue with the weapon and armor modification in my opinion though is that you have to unequip items from your squadmates in order to be able to modify them.

And as a matter of fact, this answers your question, OP.

If you played either of the previous Dragon Age games, you know what enchantment is in the context of the setting, and you know how it works. It's the same as it was in DAO and DA2. If you haven't played either of those, then you ask your arcanist and she'll explain it to you.

Not true. I have 4 playthroughs and I have never, not once unequipped a weapon or an armor from a team member to modify it. I just choose the character and then click their armor or weapon. Have never had any problems with it.

I wonder how long it will take mods to close this thread too.

Hmmm I don't know how I missed the arrows.  Asked someone and they told me I had to unequip the items.  Looks like you are right.

Here's your guide. Go to item crafting area; blacksmith area in Haven or Undercroft in Skyhold. Go to craft item device, both are on the left of their respective room if I recall. Craft a rune of your choice if you have both the needed schematic and ingredients. Go to modify weapon device, very close by to the craft weapon device. Locate your weapon of choice in the list of moddable weapon, if you have equipped the weapon cycle to the character that is holding it. Click on weapon and one of the choices for upgrades will be runes, add the rune of your choice, confirm choice and exit. Voila, weapon is now enchanted

Yes this is for weapons, just substitute armour as needed.

The runes are made with the same 'Create a weapon' table as any other weapon.

Small correction for you Wanderer: enchanting is only available once you reach Skyhold and do the wartable mission to get the arcanist. The option never appears in Haven.

On a separate matter, am I the only one who actually looks for this OP's threads just to see the shenanigans? OP is hilarious!
