I loved this game and been waiting for some dlc why oh earth is this not coming out for ps4? If it is coming when? Ive been a bioware fan for years but because I bought a ps4 I have to wait ? Bullshit I'm done now I will move over to bloodborne instead
Extremely disappointed thanks bioware :(
Edit:
New info apparently bioware can't even say when the dlc will come out on other platforms.
What sort of company does a deal like this :(

Not BioWare's fault actually, it's Sony who get's most of the blame.

Electronic Art's signed an exclusivity deal with Microsoft as part of EA Access, and promised DLC early because of the service. Sony passed on EA Access, more or less because they wanted to focus on Playstation Now.

It is business over hate in the end, service models have become lucrative and popular, look at Netflix, HULU, GOG, Steam, Origin and the like EA Access and Playstation Now are two more of them with vastly different models.

The real problem is the practice itself can be seen as damning because of these deals. I think Microsoft and Sony need to stop offering them in the end, but chances are the extra money for the timed exclusivity publishers get is too good to pass on.

It will be coming. EA and Microsoft signed a deal, and part of that deal was timed exclusivity for the first story dlc.

They may have done you a favor. Read some reviews. Some people have found the DLC to be mediocre and overpriced.

It's totally Bioware's fault.

When people make criticism, they could at least levy it towards the right people.

Sigh, Sony does the same thing. Xbone players had to wait a year to get stuff PlayStation owners had in vanilla Destiny.

Like I said, Sony passed on the service

I also find it ironic they claim it wasn't good value, when Playstation Now is much worse than EA Access in terms of value, especially it's pricing scheme being all over the place.

But welcome to the next step in gaming, service model competition. Microsoft, to their credit, has no qualms of having competitors on their service, like apps on an iPhone almost. Sony is actually very insular in terms of game service models. Yeah they have Hulu and Netlfix, but nothing gaming related, only Playstation Now.

That needs to change.

eh i'm in the same boat but not big of a deal dude. I agree with you on the principle that it's a bad business practice but that because Microsoft want you to buy their console. The best way to tell them they are wrong is just wait for the DLC and get it on PS4 and play it there as nothing happened. MS is just wasting money their marketing won't be telling me where I'm going to play my games.

what's destiny got to do with ea/bioware?

Because people mention Destiny as an example of Sony having timed exclusive DLCs over Xbone. People though seems to forget not everyone play that game. Me included.

I feel your pain, OP. I can't say I'm happy with From Software releasing Bloodborne as a PS4 exclusive, but then, that's business.

Because Sony and Microsoft pay publishers to sit on their DLC rather than sell it to all thier customers at once.

I think the most angry should be the Xbox360 players. (and I speak as a PS4 player) since they are forgotten by Microsoft itself, and they are its costumers.

Surely, it would be more honest to at least give a date for those who don't play on PC or Xbone, sinche they are costumers just as them. But from what I'm hearing, the DLC is nothing really special.

Sometimes, I genuinely think that the people who make these complaint threads are actually, legitimately challenged and don't know what they're saying. the entire premise for this complaint is stupid and nonsensical. It cannot possibly be Bioware's fault, because they're not the ones who make the decision about what platform gets timed exclusives.

this is nothing to do with ea access. Its timed dlc it happened last gen before ea access even existed? God stop trying to start the hole console war thing, its over anyway
Ps4............20.2million sold
Xbone .......10 million (shipped)
