Well, just started the game... 100 hours ago... This is my 5th Bioware game, it is actually my 6th but since I am still not able to even start Mass Effect 1 (but I digress)  it is the 5th one I can play on PC.

DA Inquisition is truly a fabulous game, so much that I often feel I want to stop and just enjoy the view. However I have two suggestions:

1 - I find that the romantic choices offered to - well - male lovers far outweigh the choices offered to female lovers. I would like to see more female companions that could be romanced starting with, shall I say it, Vivienne, but also Leliana who was great in DA Origins, and others. This could be added to a DLC.

2 - The area required to step into to pick up goodies is in my mind too limited and hinders the gaming experience by forcing us to stop backtrack pick up, resume, etc. Not sure I have a solution, maybe make the circle of effect larger or even allow a distance pick up when the item is highlited.

My 2cents, will keep playing, and thanks for a great game

There's no real issue with the thread as it's a request for more content (which I expect all fans would like on some leve).

It's important to keep some perspective though that no romanceable character will appeal to every person so with every game there will be people that say "Hey I don't like any of these options." Which is fine, but it'll probably come around in the future with stuff that you do like.

As for a new character that is unfortunately pretty unlikely as it'd be very intensive to overhaul much of the single player segments and conversations. This extends to current characters too somewhat, as changes to their writing can have all sorts of knock on risks that may not be apparent at first. So it's very likely "too much of a risk" to make these types of changes because it'd have impact with most of the game.

There could be characters that could have romances in DLCs and the like, but that content is most likely going to be reserved for the DLC sections just due to that risk. I don't know what plans they may or may not have for that though. As some have suggested, someone like Harding would possibly work as there's already some ground work (less risk!) but it'd all come down to what the DLC creators want to do within that content (which I don't know, sorry!).

thats how it works, I don't like those options so there is no option for me. How else it suppose to work? If you told let's say unemployed woman that she has an option to go work like a companion, do you think most of them would even consider it as an option? (provided that it would be in state where it is legal)

It's an unfortunate reality and it's the way things go with every game. I guarantee that every game has fans that feel there's no romance option for them. It sucks when it happens, but I suspect over the course of future games you'll find ones that work for you. Unfortunately it's unlikely that the romance situation changes with DAI.
