im just saying this game got like 1000 game of the year. should live up to the hype.
and the thing that finally got me was the specilizations. took me 10 hours to look for way of the assassin. to finally give up because it was glitched.

Despite all the issues (and possibly some more), I've played 300 hours of SP and 700 hours of MP and for me personally this is just the beginning. I will play a lot more if the game continues to live.

As someone whose entire circle of friends bought this game primarily for the multiplayer and thinks that the SP is a massively overrated flat-out bad game, easily the worst of the series...

I have--many times, in fact. I think DA2 was a significantly better game than DAI and would be willing to defend that view at more length, though it might be something of a long post and perhaps not suited to this forum. DA2 certainly had its issues...but the gameplay itself was an order of magnitude better than this monstrosity. Writing is a bit harder to objectively compare but I think DA2's, with the exception of the Act 3 finale and some of the romances, was overall better.
That DA2's problems were so widely spotted and even harped on while this game's have been completely brushed off by so many sources is an absolute travesty. Especially since this game's issues more negatively impacted my gaming experience far more often than wave combat or copypaste cave layouts.

One of DA2's problems, in my opinion, is that the gameplay only really comes together on Nightmare difficulty with friendly fire once you learn a bit about the mechanics. The combat system is actually brilliant--one of the best I've played in a long time. But the encounter design is pure ass and makes the entire thing look terrible through stupid wave combat. You can tell how good the combat system is because both of the DLCs actually have good encounter design and make the entire setup look beautiful, far better than DAO's. That DAI's system is what it is after DAO and DA2 should be professionally embarassing.
TLDR, Dragon Age 2 is a really good game that inexplicably decided to dress up like a really bad game for Halloween and never took the costume off.
I bought the game for the campaign with hope that the multiplayer would be fun enough to hold my interest. Although ME3 multi managed to keep me interested for 2 and half years I knew the different setting/play style/plot ambiance might be a deal breaker.

I actually like and enjoy DA2 for a lot of reasons. It was hugely flawed but I played the hell out of it. I think most people will be tentative about saying they like it because people will rail on them from the get go if they even say it out loud. Just because someone enjoys something flawed doesn't mean we forgive all flaws when and if we enjoy it. Those two things are not mutually exclusive.
Make that six. Trying not to sound like a fanboy but DA series as a while is certainly among the top RPG games I've played, ever, and that's quite a lot of games.

I buy this game just for the online and I find bug, bugs, lag, black screen, can not play with other people without lag terrible lag. patches do not solve the most important thing in the game is what happens to most of the players on pc. black screen and not able to move is the worst .. thanks bioware.

Many people do play successfully on PC, so assuming this thread is legitimate, do check out EA Answers for ideas/solutions.
