The DLC is cheaper than ordering pizza but more expensive than renting a movie. On Redbox. On a disk that might be scratched up and drooled on.

I think I have heard this line with every video game company. Honestly, I think BW is one of the better ones.
The latest DLC is out and the reception is beyond bad. Timed exclusivity is a bad move and it shouldn't happen in the first place. I understand people complaining about it. But saying the DLC is worthless? Really?
Of course, you can choose not to buy it but at least pay respect to the people who made it. The whole DLC needs countless man-hours to develop. The devs did their best to deliver us a great product. Then the product isn't up to your taste, you just describe it 'worthless'.
P.S: I know many will find my opinion 'invalid' or 'fanboyish' but I'm being honest.
The people that work on the game have nothing to do with timed exclusivity.
You can see when passion, enthusiasm, and talent are in games that are made. If you look at DAO or ME1 and ME2 you can see that in them if you look.
I have great respect for the teams that made those games. They are absolutely amazing.

Square Enix has tried to be lazy, they profusely apologised for it and now they are working harder than ever. Bioware has been lazy this whole time and they are still being lazy, nor have they admitted to not working as hard as they can.
You wern't here for ME3 meltdown if you think this is toxic. The DA fandom is much more reasonable, and this forum is like. lignt shower on a sunny day.

Ehh no sorry I was here and I was one of the many pointing out the flaws of the game that I didn't enjoy and sending feedback. It has been pretty toxic around here since then although to be fair the BSN has always had this side.
Did you even read the reddit review? Its pretty constructive. Not whiney or toxic at all. People who buy a product actually do have an entitlement to critisise it if they dont like it. They bought the game. Frankly I think its very telling that the devs won't interact on their own forums and refuse to communicate with us. Most large game companies have PR reps and community managers. Bioware seems to have neither.
I read the reddit review and it seemed to be for the most part ok but I've read a fair amount of other threads here and in other places where people act this way. So just because I bought the game I have to be a an ******* to the people that make the game? That's not going to get anything across other that I'm dissatisfied with a product but I don't know how to express it.
I'm not saying people shouldn't complain if they're not happy with what they got, it's just that some of the people complaining sound like entitled pricks. It's only $15 and you don't have to get it. If you can't afford it, then don't buy it.
I personally don't think there's anything amazing to the DLC. I'm more excited to get the Black Emporium. I knew it wasn't going to be anything Solas related so I didn't have any expectations. Heck I can't even play it, I got screwed since I'm on the PS4 but besides being disappointed I can't play, I'm cool with it.
I saw a stream of the DLC, yeah nothing impressive story wise but with no pr involved I was surprised they just dropped this on us.

1/4 of the price of DAI for a DLC that took 4/5 hour at best.
more like 1\2 in my region. 799rub DLC, 1799rub - DAI full price (1999rub - exclusive). Those prices are recent, preorder was cheaper.
I do respect the devs. But I'd like to look in the eyes of a man, who had decided that this game needs some more exploration with no companions\advisors\returning characters involved. MotA has the 'almost rescue' and plenty of related dialogues, including the romance-sensitive lines, it also has Tallis to either love or hate. Legacy has Malcolm Hawke, Anders and some Varric too. Leviathan has romance-sensitive scenes and good opportunity for some of the crew to have some action. Citadel has the most of the character-related content ever (too much if you ask me, but it's same price with JoH). One'd think that devs should realize their strongest points by now.
Also, it's a good idea to release the main trailer before starting the sales. Just saying.
