I saw that someone found T4 Refined Battlemaster Mail in the DLC. That Veil Quartz looks new too.
Anyone find anything else new?

Don't get your hopes up. It's still the same old trenchcoats. Although there is one unique new armor. Oh and all the "new" T4 armors are sold by an avvar merchant in the village.
What do they look like?
The unique one? Screenies plox ![]()
Can Qunari wear the new armor?
Gimme dat unique armor screenie please.
Don't expect new looking armors, headgear or the addition of good hair.
Apparently making new armor models and hair is the hardest thing to do in the video game industry. But strangely... modders in all other games has no problems with it. Give a AAA+ gaming company employee 3 months and he cant create a single mesh. Give a modder 1 week and he/she can create stunningly detailed armors.
This is why games needs modding. Because game studio employees are not doing their job and for some reason they dont get fired for it. And for some reason modders are not being employed by these game studios.

While I agree that modding the game without hassle should have been possible, Bioware IS making some new staff. There is new headgear in the DLC, and new armor. No new hairstyles sadly, but well, life is life.

Yeh I remember when the armour packs for DA2 came out, everyone LOVED them and thought they were great ideas. No one complained at all.
There you go
that looks almost plate mail-ish.
Yes i found the T4 Refined Battlemaster Mail...
The Tier 4 schematics disappoint me. They are statistically and aesthetically identical to their Tier 3 counterparts (The "Superior" Tier 3 armors), with no distinction at all. I don't know why they exist.
While the armor from the end of the DLC is cool, it is also ultimately very poorly statted (at least the Mage version is), and if you're playing it in the post-game with endgame crafted armor, it will be of no use to you in that regard. I liked tinting the armor and the matching helmet you can find, but without schematics to make good versions, they will likely get put into storage when the next DLC rolls around.

By the way. You can get the schematics for all three (light, medium, heavy) versions of that dragonslayer armor by completing an operation on the wartable after the end of the DLC. It shows up somewhere near Val Royeaux.
...I did not see such a thing.
*runs*
Edit: I still see nothing on my war table. I did every quest. Maybe it didn't show up for me. :\
Edit 2: You have to go back and talk to Kenric. He doesn't have a quest marker, but he's in the house from the start of the area. That convo unlocks the operation.

Yeah, they're kinda useless on a post-endgame save. I'm hoping though I'll be able to add the schematics earlier on a second playthrough with cheat engine.

I mean sure, but they're still not better than Tier 3. You might as well just get and use Tier 3. Tier 4 looks the same, the numbers are the same...Whether you get it early or after level 20 like intended, there's nothing unique about them.
It's really frustrating.
The refined battlemaster mail looks exactly like the superior and sturdy versions without the extra mail from the regular battlemaster mail, unfortunately.

Don't forget dramatic timing - they actually implemented the whole package with Hawke.
