32.  I have some memories of playing Atari, but considering how young I was I probably wasn't doing much.  The first game I became able to beat regularly was Contra on Nintendo.  I remember playing Zelda and not really being able to get all that far or do particularly well.  Eventually I got a Genesis.  I remember thinking how awesome some of the Xmen games were for that.  

 

My gaming habit has only grown, and I'm lucky enough to be married to the kindest woman imaginable.  She is massively accepting of my nerdiness, although she doesn't play games (which is fine), she's never made me feel bad about gaming in the near 10 years we've been together.  She's even read a fair amount of comic books because of me.

I started gaming with the NES after I got is as a birthday present one year. Can't remember which one exactly, but I couldn't have been more then a few years old as it was pre-SNES and Genesis (of which I eventually had both). I remember it was the Action Set because it came with the Zapper gun and the combo Super Mario Bros / Duck Hunt cartridge.

Well, and Shattered Steel, MDK2, Jade Empire and KOTOR. They can keep the BG icons, I have a total of two hours on those.

The completist in me can't abide a missing icon, NO icons, sure that's fine, but miss one? It's driving me crazy.

 

Yes, but not for a console version, unfortunately.

 

I looked in the Forum Help subforum and saw that it might be possible to get the software to recognize if you had a PC version and redeem the product code via Origin. I did actually happen to have a PC version... after I fell in love with 2 and 3 and never thought 1 would ever come to PS3, I broke down and bought a copy for my laptop. Managed to get it running and so that was how I first played 1. Then, literally 4-5 months later, they announced the ME Trilogy for PS3. Which I ended up buying anyway because I want the physical disc for 1 to go with 2 and 3, and I gave my now-duplicate 2 and 3 discs to a friend who'd never played it before.

 

Just dug up the box from the PC version I'd bought and redeemed the code. Voila!

Noooo! I've played like every Bioware game there is but on different platforms and without login stuff so I'll never get them badges.

I'm in the market for an upgrade for mywife. Well specifically an exact clone of my current wife with an added subroutine for gaming. Since right now I have to hide in the basement to game. At least I have a 50" LED TV down there.

I know the feeling. Mine is not exactly a gamer though she enjoys her Candy Crush Saga and Singstar and whatnot. She's an early sleeper though so she's often taking either naps or going to sleep at 8pm, effectively giving me shout free gaming time.

33. My first game was actually an old handheld that I found in my uncle's miscellaneous gadgets when I was 10. It only played Space Invaders. I was hooked on it for a good few hours. My first actual console was a SNES, though I spent quite a lot of time at my aunt's house playing Super Mario Bros on her older Nintendo, and her Gameboy. I ended up going on a pretty long hiatus through high school onward. I didn't seriously start looking at video games again until just a fear years ago, when I got the Mass Effect Trilogy, and later Dragon Age.

First system I owned was a hand-me down ColecoVision. Then Atari when all my friends had NES.

ME was my first BioWare game, since then have played all ME and DAs. Got part way into BG and NwN 1, last year, but not able to dedicate the time I wanted to on both.

Zorinho20 - From what I recall, just log into your Origin Account ingame when you start the game up from Steam.

 

I purchased both ME and ME2 on Steam, and they both show up on Origin since a few years ago when EA started wanting to compete with Steam for real, and so offered users access to their EA games on Origin even if you had purchased it on another platform.
