Being non-american, non-british, non-native english speaker I'm in no way biased here.

I tend to use Armour rather than Armor, just like I use Parkour rather than Parkor.

On metric vs. Imperial, I get that 12 inches makes a feet while 3 feet makes a yard, or that's how I've understood it. ~4500 feet or ~1500 yards makes a mile.

Still, it's more convenient that 10 millimetres makes a centimetre, 100 centimeters makes a metre and 1000 metres makes a kilometre.

Oh, predictive text input thingies made it metre instead of meter. I don't know which is the correct term there as the predictor accepts both. Don't make me a Brit or US supporter cause of that if there's that dialect difference in those words.

The Queen approves.

You are to be Knighted for your services to Her majestys English.

Please step forward, Sir Teophne of DAMP.

Very amewsing. I wood hate this diskushonn to leed to rancor, but 'armour' is the most fitting and appropreeyatt spelling vareeyashun on this forum. Y? Becoz this forum is Canaydeyun, hense it follows menny of the marvellus spelling tradishuns that flow from Kween's Inglish :D .

FTFY :P

OT: New weapons would be great if they significantly expanded the upper-middle range, eg the level 20-23 commons, 15-20 rares and 13-18 uniques. That way, the pool of commonly used weapons would be more varied, and we'd have interesting things to use while waiting for a Caliban, PBtM, LBOTG, Sulevin blade etc.

All really down to Noah Webster and his dictionary 'dumbing down' (as it was at the time) 'King's English',

on the basis that Americans found the spelling too complicated and he would simplify some of it for them...  :)

Interestingly, some of his simplification proposals such as:

  • soup --> soop

My Soop!

You can dodge arrows just fine, as well as Arcane horror Ratatatata shots etc. You don't even need Combat Roll, although that just makes it silly easy if you do.

I've seen a metric ton of people that don't understand that they shouldn't engage the Arcane Horror in melee if they have aggro, since he will just teleport away. Stand way back and just Dodge his hits - easy piecy.

Being an American I will weigh in to say this much.  We have a hard enough time teaching ourselves how to dress and wear shoes.  Your lucky we manage to even use a bastardized version of English to communicate.

That said I've spent a long time conversing over the internet with Brits, Italians, and Canadians.  I spell Armour with a u like it should be.  As well as Colour.

I'm not a turncoat.  Like many men I follow certain impulses and those impulses have lead me to the realization that there are some really hot Canadian (and British) girls out there if you can get them to wear something that isn't 3 layers thick and meant for winter all year round.

it will need a lot more than new weapons to bring players back....

It's just too repetitive and perilous is too easy.

Was that an ironic "Your" instead of "You're", if so nice one  otherwise

As for topic, i'd just like to get current weapons *cough* Sulevin *cough* or at least hope new weapons would be added for breadth to the top tier, and not power-creeping.

... perilous is too easy.

I thought there was some outcry about zone 5 being harder now without The RoomTM.

Do you think most players think Perilous is too easy? Or does that just affect high-prestige players, with great weapons?

Perilous still regularly hands my ass back to me...

I don't find it any harder than it was before if you and the group run to a decent spot.

While Orlesian Chateau has plenty of nice long hallways with limited entry points that make for a setup nearly as good as the one in the font room, there are a few Wave 5 zones that do not have this. Particularly on Elven or Tevinter. There's one I'm thinking of specifically where it's nearly impossible to break an Archer's line of site.

Just think if it was part of their plan for us to use these rooms like this all along, they should have designed the final rooms better.

sure thing it is possible and easy once you learned how ^^

... but no-one does it as elegantly as the Quarians, Geth or Salarians do it :P

Are you saying you spell armor like a "moran" because you think British and Canadian girls are hot?  And then call yourself a man because of that?

You don't realize you are helping out my side/argument?  I give you permissioun to use the cooul spelluing because you definiutly beloung theure.

That said while I have an ex that was from Canada and yeah she was beautiful.....American girls are just as hot.  Although I am a  sucker for accents (of all kinds)

Some levels don't have decent spots. Of course it is harder. To say it is the same would be silly.
