Hello,

After a long research on google and in the search of this forum, I decided to create this post (I hope I don't break any rules by this, I don't know if this type of post is politically correct but I'll give it a try).

Basically I would like to pay for a dedicated server to host a module online, but I only managed to find one provider for nwn2 (nls).

Could anyone give any recommendations on providers of this service or any alternatives? I would like to get, in order of priority, a good service and a a cheap price.

Personnaly, I rent a dedicated server running windows 2008 server web R2, it's a specific way of distribution from the provider OVH

 

Then you will have a remote desktop and you can install your server as you want.

 

(It cost me almost near of 100€ per month but performance are really here)

Thanks a lot for your answer, it seems that your answer was not showing up when I refreshed. Did they also charge you to set up the server at the beginning or just the monthly payments?

When you rent a dedicated server like this way, they just give you a remote access with a windows installed.

 

It is to you to install nwn2 and set the nwn2 server without their help.

 

So you don't rent a NWN2 server but a Windows server on which you do what you want.
