Hello Dragon Age fans. I've got a question here regarding the DLC. I asked in a different post, but got flat out ignored. What I am wondering is if purchasing the DLC will affect the base game in any way? I haven't finished the campaign yet and would rather not have it tainted with overpowered equipment and such until I've finished. So, is it safe to buy or should I wait? Thanks.

It won't do anything until you play it.
As such, you can buy it now, or just wait until you reach the end of the game. Until you visit the area (by doing a new scouting operation from the war table), you're not going to see anything different either way.
