What have I missed while at work? 

 

That was quite a debate...and a lot of it seems quite nonsensical. 

 

I get that passion can get the better of us in these debates, it's happened to me before, but some of these arguments make no sense. 

 

Chaos. 

 

There was Ameridan and then there was ultra pro-mage freedom and then there was the questions of whether all Templars are evil. 

 

"Middle grounds are bad."

 

Someone claimed that Cole was murdered, and someone countered that with a picture of the Kirkwall chantry exploding...because reasons. Then they covered Anders and Vivienne, and now all we need is a Loghain debate to really round out the tension and general antagonism. 

 

Oh, were you being rhetorical? 

 

So, how about that Ameridan?

I was sort of being rhetorical. 

 

I got up to the chantry exploding and people talking about how the middle ground is bad, then I just skipped to the end because I couldn't handle the lack of logic.

Then we can segue into a debate regarding the Divine Election and the relative merits of the possible contenders for the Orlesian throne.

I don't do hash tags and such since I'm not big on twitter....at all. 

 

I'm a Loghain defender but even I don't say he did nothing wrong. 

 

I support the Dalish, and elves in general, finding a homeland to call their own since time among the humans for city and dalish have done nothing to improve the elven situation.

 

And Gaspard, back off. Cassandra was the first romance I did in this game so she's my Inquisitor's girl.

So moving away from the Mage vs Templar discussions, what you guy think will be the Jaws of Hakkon tiles in the Keep?

I can see 2 choices for sure:

 

Did the Inquisitor freed Hakkon from its mortal form?

1- The Inquisitor did not free Hakkon.

2- The Inquisitor freed Hakkon

 

Did the Inquisitor found the truth about Ameridan?

1- The Inquisitor did not found the truth about Ameridan.

2- The Inquisitor found the truth about Ameridan.

3- The Inquisitor lied about Ameridan.

 

And maybe one about Storvacker:

 

Did the Inquisitor judged Storvacker?

1- The Inquisitor did not judge Storvacker.

2- The Inquisitor punished Storvacker.

3- The Inquisitor recruited Storvacker into the Inquisition.

1 - The Inquisitor did not recruit Sigrid Guldsdotten (and made her confess not completing the ritual to the augur).

2 - The Inquisitor recruited Sigrid Guldsdotten.

3 - The Inquisitor did not encounter Sigrid Guldsdotten.

I wish we can use Ameridan in multiplayer

I found Ameridan to be a particularly inspiring figure. Probably because I often feel like one of the few people who doesn't interpret being a Dalish fan with being Anti-Chantry. 

 

His memory of Drakon was a really poignant reminder of how things could have been if he had been around to prevent the Orlais-Dales Alliance from dissolving.

Mourning over what could have been is a ultimately pointless affair but it is a stark reminder that historical context is important.

Ameridan deserved better than the lie. I told the truth. The guy was an elven mage who saved Orlais, and most likely Ferelden, from a possessed dragon.

If your inquisitor was trying to hide the truth, they kind of failed since everyone will know Telana was real and Ameridan's lover so at least everyone knows Ameridan had an elven mage lover.

My Inquisitor is a conservative Andrastian. Thats why he would not tell the truth.
