Is there anyway we can get an expansion area of Orlais that we can go to that enables us to fix our mug and wigses?

I would actually pay $15 to not have a female inquisitor with male pattern baldness, receding hair lines, and/or looks like something Miley Cyrus would rock.

BTW, what happened to the Black Emporium? Wasn't that supposed to be included patch 5?

Yeah, I was wondering what happened to that DLC.

Did the devs say it would update the hair?

Not sure Orlais is the best place to be looking towards for non-Miley Cyrus hair styles.

Spoiler

I don't know...Maybe the Antivans have more reasonable fashion sense.

No confirmation on if it will include new hairstyles, but the Black Emporium update is supposed to hit sometime around the beginning of May and will be 100% free.

Hopefully the amount of time taken on it means we get new hairstyles. Because we REALLY need new hairstyles.

I hope so too, then.  Maybe it'll include new casual wear too one can choose from in a wardrobe similar to ME2/ME3.  One can hope.

She has the face shape for it.  Still when you have 2-3 version of it, say what?

I'm so done with the hair in this game.

Gods, I hope so. Those pajamas are killing me.

The lack if decent hairs and the dreaded pajamas are two of the most heavily criticized aspects of the game at the moment. And the Black Emporium seems like *the* golden opportunity to address both of those concerns. And Bioware has been doing pretty damn good in so far as addressing fan concerns with Inquisition so far, so I'm cautiously hopeful that the Emporium will have the fixes we're all hoping for.

I actually liked Miley's hair like this and wouldn't mind this in the game

I wouldn't even mind a Mohawk if you make it a cool color and you have some lift to it.  BTW, I tried to get mine this color and it's like so not lavender.  Don't know how to lighten it without screwing up my hair totally.

I fully support this! but i really want some moving hair textures :x its obvious they're capable with Sera being the example. I wouldnt need anything super complex but maybe some braids? or even better dreads! i want my quizzy to look like shes been on the road for weeks! not sat around and brushed her hair all morning lmao

I would love long LOTR elf hair or even Skyrim style long hair  but it feels like it's too much to ask for out of a company who seemed to believe that we all enjoy being bald.

I feel like the long hair is an undertaking due to clipping of the armor and such but clearly they are able to make moving hair textures and im just puzzled as to my quizzy didnt get at least one option! i feel like that has so much potential! like the qunari could have lil bits/bobbles hanging from their horns AGH. </3 I'd like something more similar to ArchAge or Elder Scrolls Online but i feeel youu. the fully shaved look is not flattering on most characters and we need some more variations for suure. I'd honestly be satisfied with a CC tool, just look at all the hair mods for DA2 and Origins! i supremely enjoyed running around as Flemeth in the last game xD

Understand that, while the current hair options are inexcusable, complex hairs are limited in no small part by the Frostbite 3 engine. So, if we DO get more and better hairs (which I pray we do) we will NOT being getting any super-long, super-complex, super-realistic hairstyles.

I bring this up in just about every hair-related thread, but here it is again.

This:

is realistically about what we could hope for from new hairstyles.

Which would be fine.  I thought those were what we were getting and seriously almost returned the game when I go to the character generator and saw that bullshit.

I have very few genuine issues with the game, but the hair options are one of them. Especially after seeing these character previews. And I am not alone in that.

I'd still very much like to know what happened to these hairstyles. Each one of them looks so much better than what we got in the original game.

Except, as i said, they are clearly capable of making moving hair textures. If you look at Sera's character model, hers isnt super complex but it IS dynamic. Thats what i was trying to say. They dont need to be super realistic or even really long, just flowy \ (•◡•) /

I know, right?

I think its fine to have some unisex styles and some styles that are gender-restricted because it helps people to create unique characters.

Ah yes, the advertised hairstyles that Bioware failed to deliver. That seemed to be a trend with this game. Bioware advertised so much and delivered so little.

Full cinematic dialogue scenes (that were even in the previous games)? No, you'll get crappy un-immersive Skyrim dialogue systems instead.

Check out these minor characters' faces! Nice right? Not anymore.

This hair is gorgeous and these faces are marvelous! Let's give the players neither of these things!

Sorry, I'm still just so bitter... :(

And I'd be fine with the current hair we had if the--what is it?--13 or so buzz cuts we had were different and longer hairstyles.

Well, I was disappointed that you can't to people anywhere outside of Skyhold, but I'd take that if I could have better hair.  I seriously cannot emphasize how much I ****** hate the option for hair in this game.

No, I agree. Every time I make a new character and have to look through the hair (and horn) options, I get incredibly frustrated and a little depressed. :/

And I'm not even one of those who believe that women cannot look good with straight hair, but the 2 "long" styles are buns where you look like you have a receding hairline, and the medium length have the worst side-parted bangs/fringe or look like a frickin hair helmet from the 70's.

It's seriously the WORST hair in gaming.

They can make dragon wings, all manner of decay on their darkspawn, blobby little fighting demons but all I get for hair is 18 types of bald or something that only looks good if I also wear a caftan or tube socks.

I'd love long hair but I understand if they don't want clipping issues - though personally I'd be willing to accept some clipping for a good hairstyle (no pun intended). Shoulder length hair would be great as long as it looked like 1) you bothered to comb your hair, and 2) it framed your face nicely.

Seriously. Origins had better hairs than this game. That is not an exaggeration.

I don't know what happened to make the hairstyles such a low priority during development, but it shows. All we can do is hope that Bioware has heard our concerns and will address them. But as I said, I think Bioware has been doing a pretty great job of listening to fan feedback for Inquisition, and the Black Emporium is the perfect way to address this one.
