Can't tell if you're being sarcastic or not, but I was just pointing out that Bioware did it in three games with little backlash.Oh well that makes it alright then. Silly me. Carry on.
Anyone else hate Bianca?

I found her ultimately forgettable, actually. Her last line is so laughably absurd it didn't even occur to me that anyone would really take it as a threat until someone mentioned it here. And it isn't as though they were going to let you murder Varric's true love right in front of him, regardless.
But no, I don't really hate her. If not for her name, she would have been random dwarf #271.

Well if they did it 3 times and no one thought real hard about it then that's just fine then. *sarcasm*

Think about the consequences if BioWare allowed you to punch a female character in game. Let's not even go there.
In Mass Effect 2 & 3 you are given the opportunity to punch reporter Khalisah al-Jilani. I've personally never taken the option, I find violence against women disgusting, but I have seen videos of it. To the OP's point no I don't hate Bianca, she simply got in way over her head and set off events she couldn't have foreseen. She then tried to do everything she could to set things right. She and Varric have an intense relationship where circumstances prevent them from being together. They're both very much in love, and can't move on with their lives. They both need to in my opinion, it's an unhealthy situation, but they're both adults and no one can make them do anything they aren't ready to do.

I don't dislike the character, though I do dislike the hype built up around her and Varric. All that secrecy and Varric's 10+ yrs of devotion over no one that special really(storywise). Kind of makes the no romancing Varric because of... a little over the top and I am not even a big fan of his, it's still a mystery.

Eh it was optional and I'm sure if there was a companion disapproval most of your party would. Anyway your first post was about the consequence of Bioware putting it in one of their games and I pointed out that they did just that.Well if they did it 3 times and no one thought real hard about it then that's just fine then. *sarcasm*

You can punch her in ME1 as well. In ME3 you end it with a headbutt.
About Bianca, I don't hate her (and the situation) because of her being responsible for Corypheus having red lyrium. I hate that right after revealing the truth she threatens me. I dislike graphic threats; even if not serious. In a way that's worse for me because you should never say you'd feed someone their eyeballs if you don't mean it. But I do live by a "say what you mean and mean what you say" type of philosophy.
Additionally, as already stated, I hate that the Inquisitor doesn't so much as reply to this absurdly inappropriate threat. I'd like options Bioware's earlier games have given here instead of being a mute.

I like Bianca. What comes to that threat it seems to be more like her way of saying that you should take good care of Varric and I find it fitting.
My only problem with not enough choices was Adamat decision with Hawke and Alistair. I would have wanted to sacrifice someone else instead of one of them.

I mean I find it fitting that she said it and it sounded like a threat and a joke at the same time and it meant also that she cares about Varric a lot. Great line.

I saw no humor there but whatever. After the mess she caused if she topped it off by saying that line to my character I should have the option to toss her in one of those darkspawn pits. There isn't even a "Sit in Judgment" option. It's a prime example of how limited your actions are in DA:I that your character is forced to forgive the body count/conflict caused by her mistake in addition to her threatening you.

It's not about intimidation necessarily but absurd disrespect. In Vivienne's introduction you can have her kill a man for disrespecting you; one of the very few times you can do something rather evil in-game.

I suppose BioWare could have given you the option to respond to obvious hyperbole as though it were serious, then Bianca could have rolled her eyes, Varric could have shrugged at her sheepishly while mouthing "Sorry", and everyone else in the party could have looked at you like the parents of a particularly embarrassing child.

I don't actually hate her but I do dislike her. She's also a married woman, who quite clearly cheats on her husband and to me personally that is unacceptable and despicable behavior and drastically lowers my opinion of her. Varric should wise up.

Obviously you think if it doesn't bother you then it cannot/shouldn't bother anyone. Any character not perfectly fine with Bianca being responsible for the red templars and threatening you is the "embarrassing child." God forbid Bioware gave options for diversity like in previous DA's.

You specifically address this line, as though it were some great insult. No one ever forces you to forgive her for the red lyrium. Varric directly calls her out on it. What you're asking for is the option to be deliberately stupid, and I don't see anything wrong with BioWare leaving out that option. I wish they'd thought to leave it out in a couple of other places as well.
