I was really optimistic that they would add some new hairstyles, more realistic facial hair (less plastic-like) and maybe a few more subtle tatoos. But as time passes my optimism is dwindling. Having a BE is good so I guess I will live whatever we get.

Thanks for sharing!

I like how my Lavellan lass looks like, except for the lip shine X) and maybe lip color.

I'm not really bothered they're releasing it on May, better take their time and make it smooth than trying to get things done fast but ends up creating new bugs to fix later.

Besides, it's free!! Horay for free stuff! XD

Considering you could edit Hawke in the vanilla game way back in November, I don't see it as likely that we'll get a vanilla CC to simply edit our Inquisitors, as that would be fairly lame, even if it's free. Also consider that one of the major changes modders implemented with the DA2 Black Emporium were hairstyles and makeup, so maybe those moved up the priority list since release, especially since many people complained about the hair in particular. The hair specifically seems to be the one thing modders are having the most trouble with, too, so adding new styles would be a very smart thing to do.

I don't quite know why Bioware has consistently had trouble with hairstyles since Origins, either. There are people, for example, who mod the Sims on their own time that do much better work in a month or two, and yet a AAA game can't seem to find the time to make these probably easily implemented incremental improvements.

Anyway, I also wouldn't mind a few more options for eye and mouth shapes, as everything else worked quite well. But that may have to wait for outside modders to slowly but surely work out.

Yes their hairstyles have never been great.

Do you think that they went with so many shaved/balding male- ish options because they are not simply able to create nice hairstyles?  I hadn't really considered that - I just always assumed it was some misguided design choice....

Doubt it. There are some non balding, non buzzcut hairstyles in the mix. It's more likely as others have said, that hair was the last thing on their mind before releasing the game.

I think that they should turn that into a Black Emporium DLC content, without history.

For example: buying the DLC you have right there:

- In Heaven and Skyhold, the option to paint your items (armor, helmets, shields, weapons and weapon enhancements).
- In Heaven and Skyhold, the option to change the appearance of items. You can only use the same type example of items: shields can only be models of shells, heavy armor models of heavy armor, etc. You could use looking one-piece items in items that allow improvements, keeping the bonus of improvements but not showing. Such as the sword of the inquisition, armor of the Templars. The possibility to allocate a permanent appearance of an item slot, whenever you have a armor on it. Example: You assign the appearance of certain equipment with, greaves and gauntlets of an appearance. No matter if the armor there will be item that allows enhancements or one-piece items. The 3d model of the item is what you chose.
To pick up an item or item of income his model generated is stored in the database for you to use the model, even if the level required to use the item is greater than yours.
- Ability to redo the look of your character. More options for haircuts, facial hair, horns, tattoos and scars to his character. Also add comfiguração element which can create Qunari as tarot cards from the moment of creation of the characters.
- Customize the armor and weapons of the Inquisition soldiers, Cullen, Josephine and Leliana.
