Whenever you're playing with randoms or scrubby friends, there are some kits that people generally do fine with, and there are some kits that a lot of people suck with. Let's focus on the latter catagory. Whenever you're in the lobby, everybody is selecting a kit, and then they have decided to roll witha certain kit. What selections make you slightly nervous? And I'm talking about Platinum lobbies mainly, as they seem to crawling with overzealous Pugs that can't handle said difficulty.

So, what kits do the people that overestimate their skills generally struggle with in your experience? I'm always a bit worried, whenever I see Volus Vanguards/Adepts. Nine times out of ten, you're down to three teammates basically, because they die so freakin' much. Volus kits are poorly played by a lot of randoms, but those two take the cake. Also, Warlords. Sync-kill magnets, basically. They generally get insta-killed three to four times in a Platinum game. Banshees, Phantoms, and Praetorians are attracted to Warlords like flies are attracted to ****. Even Brutes sometimes manage to slam them into the ground.

So, who are your nominees? And why?

Hmmmm..... I get nervous when people play krogan in general..... they either don't like supporting detonations or run at banshees... (though I admit I am guilty)

These 2 Kits really anger me when I see how poorly they are used by somebody

 

 

1: Just A Car.....Seriously, I have played entire matches with people who could not detonate 1 biotic explosion w her the entire match..No Pull/Reave combos..No Reave/Bubble combos...makes me wonder exactly what did they spec her to do at all...

 

2: Bat Sol.   .....Simple to even mid score w him...Just Inferno nade everything...2 Nights ago I played with someone Sniping with him....what???!!!!!!....

Geth Juggernaut and Krogan Warlord

Fury, too many deaths, and Warlords, too many sync-kills. 

 

All difficulties included, the most badly played kit is the Juggernaut IMO. I've witnessed some PUGs walking slowly to grab a poor single geth trooper that was 20 meters away while they could have just shot him without moving from where they were. I don't get it. 

 

The voluses I've met in plat lobbies were usually Shield Boosting mainly. So not much damage but some utility nevertheless.

The human vanguard, gold first timer. "what gold difficulty? It'll be easy, all I gotta do is just charge nova right" 

That and the melee spamming juggernaut!

I played with a GI the other day who I thought was a GT because I didn't see him cloak til wave 7, and he definitely skipped Hunter Mode.

Another trend I have noticed is alot of angry teenage Warlords screaming on mics about they got sync'd after running up to a Praetorian and hammering it once  ( but guy's I used the electric hammer, should have insta killed it))

Pretty much me. I say away form the Fury as best as I can. "Come on Fen, just try it! You'll love it!" said my friends and they made me take the Fury into Platinum.... I didn't do THAT badly, but it was a very unpleasant experience. Good thing I said "You do realize you'll have to carry me, right?" before the game.

That's how I started off. I kept Shield Boosting my butt off and then slowly became comfortable with the idea of actually dealing some damage.

I'm still pissed that these jerks wouldn't let me bring my level 7 GI to gold.

 

Then when I kept landing in t heir lobby, they let me stay and they're the ones that sucked at gold and probably shouldn't have been playing it.

 

And that was like a year ago at this point.
