I own a physical copy of ME, it is a UK EA value copy (not sure if that makes any difference). The key does not seem to work.
Same for me. Quite sad really.

What about if you own a physical copy?
I probably have the serial key still lying around here somewhere, I reinstalled it on my new pc a while back. I could even take a picture of the box and everything

Wierd.
I have 2 x Dragon Age; Origins in my Origin library but none show up to add the icon.
The first is an 'EA Classics' physical disc bought a couple of years back. The other one is the Ultimate Edition bought on Origin 11 days ago on sale (has to be played via Steam though).
Pinnacle Station shows up as a separate game?

Guess it's because it was the last thing I invested in. Long after I had everything else.
Well, if a way to get my Xbox 360 physical Mass Effect game history registered exists so I can get that shown as well, lemme know. Bummer thats its not there.
If I can't have all the icons. Then I don't want any.
They're way too big too look nice anyways.
Yeah as others have mentioned, I found them way too big, can we just have smaller icons like in the old BSN? Also, any chance to bring our Bioware character links back? I know they can be viewed in forum profile, but hyperlinked icons would be nice.

That was pretty funny, but picturing your avatar saying it puts it over the top... lol
The change is a total screw up that wasn't thought through clearly. It has diminished the functionality of the forum. It was done without any effective warning, and there is no easy way for the user to revert to the previous functionality.
None of these are good.
There are effective and well understood processes for managing large user bases and change, but they seem to have been forgotten, or possibly deliberately ignored, in this case.

Interesting. My Pinacle Station has not even an icon.
It seems I have the Mass Effect 1 problem, but in reverse. That is : I've got the game in Origin (since several months) but the icon doesn't shows here. Does someone have the same issue ? (I've tried to log/delog from the forum several time)
I'm trying do DL it and lauch it just to check if it will unlock the icon.
I have the same issue.
Got my digital copy of ME1 by buying another EA/Bioware product. ME2? DA2? I don't remember.
Registration date 12th of August 2011
PS.:
ME1 is not listed in http://social.biowar...page/games-list
Perhaps this is where I need to put my key from Origin, too?
Not at home atm. Can't try now.
PPS.:
No. It does not work.
Code is not recognized there.
PPPS.:
GOT IT
Somewhat buggy but I got it working by copying the key from the allready registered version and reentered it as a new key.
Now I got 2 Mass Effect 1s but my badge is there.

PPPPS.: The re registration of Pinnacle station did the job for the according icon, too.
Got two Pinnacle Stations now ^^
The last time I made the mistake of registering an existing, installed game with Origin, it didn't recognize it properly. I had the english version of DA:O, ordered from the UK... Origin insists I can only have the german version. All patches and DLC were missing, despite being actually there in the game itself. Then I was unable to start the game at all and the same happened to DA2. It didn't help that new installations were difficult due to the patches no longer being available from the old BioWare site. In the end I bought the Ultimate Edition on Steam so I could get my game back.
So... since I am currently playing ME, I am not eager to try to involve Origin again.
I had the same problem like you,but some friendly guy at EA Help just erased my german version and gave me Ultimate edition with all the DLCs.
Okay, icons, good, now how do i get rid of them?
Same here. How do I hide that icon block?
I had never linked any of my games to the forum profile, that's how I like it, yes.
Why would anyone do that for me without even asking first and without even giving me an option to hide them?!
Use adblockplus
And that should hide my games from the rest of the community how? A player should decide whether (s)he wants to her games list to be public or not!

I didnt realise what you meant. Suprised you are complaining about this now.

What's that so surprising about a person willing to customize the profile privacy settings? Especially considering that this option had just been taken away.
People who were willing to share their lists and profiles could do so. I never did, and I don't want to.

The list of games is not even accurate.
And by the way, the icons are big, fuzzy, and arrange themselves badly.
I can't see a positive aspect to this change.
I have a suggestion.
Many users don't like the icons in their present state. They are perhaps a bit too dominating? Looking cheap even? Like the awards in a p0rn forum? Some dislike being mistaken for at christmas tree I think. The icons are more visible than the avatars which many users express something with. You could say the user is drowning in icons.
I would decrease size with 20% and saturation with 90 - 95% (incl. black color). It looks more stylish and doesn't interfere with the posted avatars and images? And it also fits better with the forum layout (grey).
Compromise?

I have a better one. Revert it to the way it was before.
And plan any future change. The key word being "plan".

The way it was before* was something like:

The current badges aren't that different.
*On the old BSN forums
testing to see if they re added all the games i had othe rthan the ones i manually added
danb nabit they anyone know where i can add mass effect 1 and re add awakenings
The way it was before* was something like:
A user could only possibly have not more than 5 of them total (by the moment the site was taken down). The original intention was to show 2-3 icons, not 7.
They had also been tinier, and it did not look that bad on the black template. Current ME2, ME2 and Keep specifically look very messy on the white background. Draws too much attention to the spot that is not supposed to have any. Grey buttons, dark-grey text on white and (of a sudden) plenty of bright red. On your screen icons do not 'compete' with the avatar, while current lay-out makes them look equal (if not more important than av).
I'm not sure why showing what games you play is somehow an invasion of your privacy. I like the idea that i can talk to someone about game X because i know they played it, via their icons.
As for the Keep - it does have some 'achievements' attached to it, as far as being updated, playing Last Court, etc. Besides, it is NOT just for DAI, it is the depository of all of our DA universe activity (all being relative, as i still don't have all my wardens - ahem), including DAI and future games in the series.
I'm bummed that my first ME doesn't show since i played on my 360, but i wear my icons like a badge of honor - #IPlayBioWare ![]()
