I tried entering my steam code for ME1 but unfortunately it wasn't accepted. I know it's just a badge but I'd like to show I have it.
Thank you all for the replies I really appreciate it ![]()

Okay, here is the info about BRING DOWN THE SKY. First of all, if you have the Trilogy Edition, you already have it.
That said, if you need it, you can find it at this location (it's EA's site still) http://help.ea.com/e...dlc-redemption/and no authorization key is needed anymore.
Thanks for the tip everyone; got Mass Effect on Steam a few years ago and have replayed it several times; wondered why it wasn't showing up in my games area.
How do I do this if I have a Mass Effect 1 copy from the Mass Effect Trilogy for PS3?

If you played ME1 on 360, you're out of luck, since there's no way to register that version of the game and have it show up under your avatar.
So, just out of curiosity, I redeemed my ME1 key with Origin without a hitch, installed the game through Origin, than played it with Origin online for about a day and I still don't get the badge. ![]()
Anyone else got this? I am playing with MEUTIM, maybe that's got something to do with it? I'm confused.

Assuming this works in the next few hours, thank you so much! I've been wanting my ME1 to show up for quite awhile now and have been at my wits end trying to figure out what was wrong. On the plus side, I'm enjoying a new FemShep playthrough! ![]()
This may sound dumb, but bear with me.
I can see you have Mass Effect there.
Open that link and copy the Product Code.
Then under games, 'add game' and paste in the product code.

Frak yeah, it worked!

so any news on this for PS3 and Xboxers? I got the O.G. version on Xbox and the Trilogy version on both systems
Maybe something can happen regarding the Xbox One, given you can play the original Mass Effect on it now?
I'm a Preview Member on the One and downloaded the original game on it. Obviously the game's not gonna work any differently than it did on 360, but damn it I'm gonna keep wondering if there's ever a chance for me to get my badge for Mass Effect. Still nuts I don't have it.
My CD Version of ME1 couldnt be reedeemed (Origin didnt accept it), so I bought ME1 during a Origin sale for 2 Euro ![]()
I wish I could get this
. I have a Steam version and the CD key doesn't apply.
I do not see any option on my end that takes me to the screen above?
So I'm looking at the dates on these posts and thinking, there's still absolutely nothing for those of us on consoles (in my case, PS3)? Wow.
Kind of annoying not having an accurate list of little icons, especially since it's making me look like I've skipped ME1 and played ME2 without it. I know that's a strange thing to be annoyed by, but it is what it is.

I think its just a matter of Mass 1 being a thing for pre-EA Bioware. So anything EA set up for Bioware once DAO came out kinda excludes anything that came before. Its not intentional, its just a matter of fact.
Though I STILL wish I had the ME1 button. It was my favorite game of all time up until ME3 went and retroactively ruined things.
I suppose I'm mostly surprised that they can't have someone on staff add the game icon for us or something of that sort. Or if not that, open up a means of accepting the UPC for console versions of the Trilogy Set (which I have, and which I presume was created after EA Bioware since it also includes the two games which sync effortlessly to their servers). But then, that may very well take far more on the coding end than it seems.
The problem with UPC codes is that there isn't really a good source for all the UPC codes that exist and when new ones are created there isn't anyone notifying us. Also, having someone manually add icons to accounts doesn't scale well and again runs into the problem of how to verify it.
I notice you have ME2 but I don't see ME3. Have you not played your copy of the trilogy yet?
Guess UPCs aren't as universal as their name implies. That's a shame, but the verification thing makes sense. I've noticed that the BSN thing won't allow me to put in a UPC for ME3, in fact, because I haven't installed it yet, so there's safeguards in place with the automated system.
I'm actually still in ME1 right now because I keep getting sidetracked by Dragon Age. I installed and poked at ME2 then realized if I played them at the same time I'd end up massively spoilering myself (which should have been common sense, but alas). So I never did get around to putting in and installing the third disc. I should probably do that soon, though, just so it's registered.
Edit: There we go. Got it installed and logged in with it. ![]()
Jesse, I ever tell you I appreciate that you're here after all the...y'know?
Well that also might just be because BSN is broken.
Do you mean that the option doesn't exist for ME3 or that it gives you an error? I'm assuming you mean this page?
https://social.biowa...es_register.php
That's the page I meant. I actually was having an issue where I'd click "register" and it'd say I didn't have the game, but I figured out it was related to having never installed it. (Long story short: it does not magically know that the game is part of the trilogy and I'm silly for thinking it would.) Once I installed ME3 and connected to the internet with it, I got my little ME3 badge without issue. I didn't even have to input a UPC for it like I did ME2; when I went to the page and clicked register, it automatically said success.
So now I'm just missing my poor, little M for ME1. ![]()
