I don't know if it was just me and if I'm simply inept, but this has been bothering me since I made a second character. I've been everywhere in the settings/options and have not seen an option to disable the tutorial. The tutorial that pauses and hijacks the game. The tutorial that pauses and hijacks the game and almost always makes you get hit by the first enemy. That tutorial.

So I was wondering, is there actually an option to turn off this obnoxious thing and I'm simply just missing it? If not, would it be possible for Bioware to eventually implement an option to do so? It'd be really great if you can or at least consider it because I've made so many characters, and the forced tutorial--aside from the tedious tutorial level itself--is basically the main thing that makes me dread playing through the tutorial level every single time.

Also, I don't know if a thread about this has been made yet, and if it has, then I apologize.

Opinions, anyone?

Edit: Fixed wonky grammar; dunno what was going on there...

I don't know of any way to toggle the tutorial.  It would be a nice feature, though, particularly for those of us who go back to the CC a lot XD

I'm inclined to agree. I've made and remade characters so many times over that I know the prologue far more intimately than I needed to. The tutorials - particularly the intro to tac-cam and level up - can get rather annoying when they pause the game and won't allow you to resume until you've completed the given task. An option to disable the tutorial would be nice, but I imagine the devs have more important things to prioritise at this time.

Also, was that a TWD reference, or am I just antsy for the season finale? :P

Very relieved to know I'm not the only one annoyed by the forced tutorial. It and the level itself make getting started so slow and demotivating.

So glad it doesn't turn out that I'm inept! And, yes, I wholeheartedly agree!

True enough. For instance, I'd rather have nice hair first. I just hate being nagged at and told what to do and the fact that I cannot progress without doing as it says! >:V

I've never actually watched (or played for that matter) TWD, so I guess it wasn't! Marvelous coincidence, though. :) It was more like a combo reference of a really old Spongebob episode and The Emperor's New Groove!

I would like an option to remove the tutorials through an option toggle as well.

You aren't alone. I've started 6 games and had to deal with the tutorial every time. We need to be able to disable it.

It simply strikes me as odd because we've had the toggle option in the previous games, and in their other franchises as well. How can something as obnoxious as this be forgotten?

It wouldn't drive me up a wall so much if it didn't hijack the game. For instance, if it was out of the way in some corner, didn't pause my game and tell me what to do in order to continue, and just vanished over time.
