Sex follows in a haze of gray ploy
Days repay expense
Sense spent
For pain perceived as joy
What starts as sensual
Does too soon allay
Feint then eventual
Rehearsed stratagem essential
For envoi yet to play
In the mind of magistrates
There's dispersions yet to cast
Through gaping mouths debate
All the claims exacerbate
Each penny counted to the last
Seems too high a price endured
For affairs gone wrong
And too long life deferred
Not to mention cost incurred
For solicitor kept too long
Mature adults apart may grow
Dissolution required no doubt
With all the afore to forego
So to him the door I show
And kick the bastard out

I can't write poetry. I always tried but I was never able to grasp it I guess.
So when we did poetry a bunch of poetry in my Jr. year I would just write a vague story and turn in my "Free Verse" poem lol.
I did write a poem about a death in the 3rd grade.
