Hearing that the Black Black Emporium is currently said to be released sometime in May, and since there is still some time to go before that... My biggest wishes for this appearence change allowing DLC  :

Better and less unisex, less bald/crewcut new hair, also femine looking= female specific hair, like updos, prettier buns and braided updone hairdos if low hanging long hair would be too much clipping... Ponytails/braids/buns on back- come on , the halamshiral masques allready have huge potentially clipping buns on back :P Current hair not being to peoples tastes has been a big gripe on these forums for long.

And indeed even an option to change your Skyhold outfit to something less Beige and less military buttoned:  like you can change the keep drapes and furnishings- or an option leave your armor on and face the slight possible cinematic clipping with your throne or lover? ( armor on option currently allready done by cheat engine too, so not  very hard propably.) ) Pajamas- another big gripe on the forums, but less so after mods, uncompatible with current patch,  came along...

One of the top reasons I´m so far opting out of the patch 6, and , very sadly, thus not buying the DLC atm, are the beautifull Skyhold pajamas mods people have made, not working with patch 6 yet.  Also the fact that talented hard working modders have approached the getting of new hair into DAI, see   http://forum.bioware...ods-are-coming/

I also hope and wish  very very much that in the future both mods and DLC could co-exist better, so people like me would not have to choose - by a lucky chance of the Maker since I know modding is  not officially looked upon by devs atm when patching ! :) Cheers

This. It's not a choice likely to end up in favour of the DLC.

More hairs and different Skyhold attire are two of the most heavily requested things right now. And with good reason.

Sadly we have no confirmation on whether or now the Black Emporium update will include either of these things, but we have reason to hope.

For one thing, Bioware has been doing a pretty good job of listening to fan feedback and suggestions. They do browse these very forums looking for what players would like to see added to the game. And it's impossible that they haven't seen the daily threads made requesting more hair and better Skyhold uniforms :P

For another, the Black Emporium had it's own beta and will still not be releasing until the start of May. You don't have a Beta and such a long production time just to bring in the vanilla CC.

I still maintain that new outfit options for Skyhold are an easy fix, and a must. I really don't mind if they aren't new outfits, just reused from other parts of the game. And I would even much prefer just the option of going around Skyhold in the gear you wear in the field, like you do in Haven.

A significant part of the game is spent in Skyhold, and I just don't understand who in the design team thought that outfit looked good. It should never have gotten to final release.

Looking forward to seeing if they fix it!

Otherwise, this is an amazing game, thank you.

Perhaps we should all start a thread on reddit and downvote anyone who says they like the current hair?  Apparently reddit is where the devs lurk.

I am really hoping you're right. I can't see why it would take so long otherwise. If they do this, it will win back a lot of support from the player-base too.

May??? Are you kidding me. I have to say, as one of Bioware's biggest fans, I am starting to get annoyed. The wait for a hair fix has been waaaay too long already. To have to wait another 5 weeks at least for BE which may not even deal with the hair issue makes me shake my head. This, along with having to wait for the Hakkon dlc... not happy. In May I will be playing The Witcher...dang

My idea for the clothes was to put in another tinting table in the Undercroft.  The devs wouldn't have to create a new design, and the players can use more of the old mats to customize the color.  I think the outfit would look pretty good in dark blue.  It would still look a little too tight on the guys, but a darker color would go a long way to making it look better.

It sounds good in theory, but in practice, they look even more like pajamas than ever before:

I got a chuckle out of that mod.  However, I don't think BioWare would let us do that, so we should be okay.  I have my clothes modded as well, and they actually look like clothes.  I would love for new design options to be available to all players, not just PC users.  Something like this.  The pants and boots are black:
