Heard the new Sp DLC dropped for PC and XBone usually add ons usually appear on a wednesday on XBL so was kinda surprised it wasn't there for the XB360 any eta on when it will be? I can't seem to find anything as every review and feature is the PC or XBone version
Is there any news at all as to when the new DLC will be available on Xbox 360 if at all?

No ETA will be given as that is in the terms with Microsoft.

Ok I get the PS3 and PS4 being locked out for a while but isn't the xbox360 is an XBOX brand weird that it didn't fall under the deal either seems stupid to cut such a large user base out

It's Microsoft's promotion.
I expect they want to sell more Xbox One's and Xbox 360 customers would be a prime target...

As I understand it, it's not an exclusivity deal with microsoft/xbox, it's a deal where the DLC is exclusive the devices that can be signed up to EA Access. Since EA Access isn't available on Xbox 360 or the Sony machines, they don't get the DLC straight away.

Now that the Xbone1 has gone back up to $449 I don't think they will be selling a lot more of them. MS should just admit defeat and stop with the "exclusive" BS.

I think MS and Sony also forget that longtime gamers such as myself have no platform loyalty we go where the games we want to play are since many of the games I've wanted recently are cross gen i've seen no need to upgrade to a shiny next gen console but when I do it will be a ps4 not because I want to flip the bird at MS but because thats where games I want to play will be (unless MS can somehow get the huge amount of Japanese nuttiness that Nintendo and sony can muster which I doubt it)

I agree entirely. My Xbox One choice was not made on loyalty either and I'm looking forward to Tomb Raider...
Problem is, not every exclusive property you play is on the same platform.

They're idiots. They never catch up Sony's PS4 sales.

Business history is littered with car companies, technology companies, mobile phone companies, who thought their hold on a market was unassailable.
One DLC is clearly not going to solve their shortfall, but there are two things they can gain,
- Some upgrades that slow the console adoption differential, and
- a gamer perception that they have some exclusive stuff
They may not be successful, but trying to address the gap is not idiotic business behaviour.

Yes, especially if you do THIS way.
They all should be ashamed.

Do you think all exclusives are shameful?
Or is it Microsoft exclusives that you find problematic?

All of them. Especially those for games that are released on all platforms.

It's not about catching up Sony's sales it's about improving their own sales going forward. Now I know that not many people brought their console based on the timed releases of DA:I's DLC but some people did, me for one.
When all the hype was spreading about the up and coming game looking at my pc and knowing there was no way it was going to run it I weighed up my options on what console to buy.
EA early Access to the game and the timed release of the first story DLC was the reason I went with a Xbone rather than a PS4.
After all this game was the only reason I bothered with a new console. I would have waited until comparable PC prices came down otherwise.

The problem I have with MS is that their games are not really exclusive. They will eventually release them for PS4 so calling a game exclusive is really just a marketing scam. If a game was truly exclusive then it would never be released for another platform. JMO

Ok, fair enough, that's a more logical position that preferring Sony or Microsoft exclusives, er, exclusively.
It is a shame that 'Last of Of' is denied me completely because of my console choice.
And there is a difference between shameful behaviour and idiotic behaviour.
We may dislike the market principle of exclusives, but given such things exist, it is hardly idiotic for Microsoft to seek to compete with Sony.

It is, however idiotic to treat their own customers this way.
"You're on a 360? Sorry, wrong platform. Move to the back of the bus please"
And it's pretty shameful of EA to agree to this, screwing their own customers for a pile of money.

This decision does little to motivate the PS4/PS3/XB360 audience, that's certainly true.
And here we are discussing the exclusive more than we are the DLC...
I would rather this had not happened.
I can't second guess the financials as I have no sight of them.
This may have been a funding component in the budgeting, or secured marketing spend (all those trailers with Xbox ads), who knows.
I'd be surprised if it was a very lengthy exclusivity, let's hope not.

The nightmare scenario for me is if no sp dlc gets realeased on current gen consoles. While my gut feeling and the fact Bioware made DAI crossgen would suggest otherwise (spending all that time and energy making current versions and to not make dlc for them would kinda counter productive) the lack of info about the new Dlc on current gen versions does not inspire confidence

Mark has already confirmed that the DLC will be coming to all platforms.
They're just not allowed to say when.
Thats the worst part to me. Even worse that it being timed. Essentially just giving PS4 owners the finger for the Hell of it, not saying how long it will be. Twist in the wind.

Mark did say that this won't be the case for future DLC, so it's just this first one where their hands are tied.
