Suggestion: Make all updates exclusive DLC & switch which platform receives them. Only way experence the full game is buying a copy for each platform.

Not to mention, other instances where promises/comments are later contradicted. I recall DA:O's promise of 2 years of dlc being one of those instances where they broke off early.
Perhaps, but that is unrelated to this discussion. I also don't think it's enough to establish a pattern of dishonesty since Microsoft had nothing to do with that situation...
But really... Bioware/EA/Microsoft never made a promise to provide everyone with the chance to buy DLC at the same time, nor did they even suggest that this would be the case... I'm not saying that these companies are run by saints, but the example brought up in the OP is off base.
Since they never lied, it just comes down to whether or not making an agreement to let one platform have access to DLC a month early is fair or not. I don't see this as a big deal, so I think it's fair.
Also, out of curiosity, is this a permanent arrangement for all DLCs, or just the first? The old Bethesda/Microsoft deal only related to the first DLC...

DA:I is my first BioWare game in a long time. I like it alot and had plans to buy all other DA games plus the DLC. I picked up ME1 for 5 bucks but haven't played it yet but I had planned to probably get the rest of the series and the DLC. Plus I was interested in other BioWare games and I would have bought any DA:I DLC plus DA4. I'm not sure how much money that is but it seems like alot and I'm just 1 new/ex customer. DA:I has brought tons of new fans to BioWare and this is a bad way to treat them especially if profit is important, I gaurantee microsoft didn't pay you enough.

So I guess that means I should raise a stink fit that I have to wait 90 days to screen Game of Thrones online because I don't use Apple Products.
Grow up. EA is NOT The only company that has timed exclusives. DEAL WITH IT

The DLC is not a stand alone product. It's content released specifically for a game I bought.
You're acting like you payed for access to DLC when you bought the base game.
This is not the case. You've payed for access to the base game, that's it.
You pay for access to the DLC when you buy it. Which you can't, because you're on the wrong console. Sucks really, really hard for you, but there's nothing illegal here, nothing immoral and there's certainly no baiting and trapping.

You bought the same Inquisition everybody else did. The DLC wasn't even on the disc(s) then.
And eventually, you'll be able to buy the DLC. Just not right now.
Life is full of little disappointments and compromises.

I just feel that if I buy a copy of X and you buy a copy of X. It's immorally wrong to only release DLC for only one X and not the other X. If my X is missing out on content, tell me up front before I buy it otherwise I'm left to assume my X is the same as everyone else's X.
Stop using words you don't understand in funny ways.
Immorally wrong = morally good.
And your X is identical to everybody else's X. You just don't have the ability to buy Y (yet!!) because you play on console Z. Tough luck

So some X's get Y but I don't get Y. So my X is different from their X otherwise I'd have Y too.
No.

I don't even know why I'm responding to this, but you're not "X-Y". You'll get Y eventually, just not at the same time as the other X. I agree that it sucks, but you know what else sucked? Playing Skyrim on PS3 x.x. At least you know you're going to get the product at a later date.

In so long that I probably won't have the game installed anymore plus the content is spoiled I already know all about it. 0 chance I will buy it.

That's on you, then. It'll still be available for purchase whether or not you avoid the spoilers or uninstall the game.

What I wonder is, has anyone actually went out and purchased an X1 just to play Jaws Of Hakkon or even bought a 360 to play Skyrim DLC when it hit Xbox first?
