What are you talking about? They paid for X. They got X. Everyone who paid the seller's price got the same thing.
And the same is true for Y. If you bought Y, you got Y.
No seller is under an obligation to make his product available to all possible buyers, or at the same price. I can sell you an apple for $1 and another guy an identical apple for $10 as long as I cam keep you from reselling your apple. This is exactly how the same digital product gets sold in different markets for different prices in different currencies.
Unless you're willing to go all the way down this rabbit hole and decry the entire concept of voluntary exchange (where a sale only happens if both parties agree to the terms), there's no way for your position to make sense.
I cannot be required to sell my product without my consent without basically eliminating the concept of private property.
From reading this I'd gather you didn't read or understand the OP.
The difference between this situation and your giant strawman is. The DLC is not like a apple or a sandwhich which are stand alone items that can be enjoyed separately. This DLC is part of something you already sold me. Its specifically made for the game I bought and its immoral for you to sell parts of the game that are not available to everyone who bought a copy of the exact same game 4 months after I bought it.What are you talking about? Thats why its "bait and switch" I was baited into thinking my copy of the game was the same as everyone else's. Four months later "SWITCH" I find out my copy doesn't have access to the same DLC as others.
You can't enjoy DA:I separately from the dlc?
I can get the DLC since I'm on the PC, but I know that there is bugs and other issues related to it. I plan on buying it, but I'm holding off for now. So in a way, I'm more letting others test that for me. Instead of looking at it as "I got screwed over," try seeing it as, "The devs should have most of the issues recognized before I get the DLC. Sweet!" It certainly beats being mad about this.
Timed exclusives happen. If you have an issue with this, take it up with Sony or Microsoft. Or go to the EA forums and complain there. This isn't BioWare's decision, but the EA execs probably helped make this happen.
I'll be a willing guinea pig!... Uhh, for working out DLC bugs, that is ![]()
Gotta say, I'm halfway through the new DLC, maybe a little more (hopefully not too much), and it's been bug free for me so far. Granted I haven't tried crafting anything with the new mats yet. I'm kinda looking at this first PT as a recon mission. next time I'll play it with an Inquisitor who hasn't completed the game already.
I don't think I've encountered such a dramatic thread title since...Well, yesterday.
Still very dramatic.

Friend its not "inmoral" is about changes... they can put this DLC quickly for some platform coz they can do it quickly in that platforms
The other thing is... they have to downgrade the graphics for make it work for another platform
And that take some time, u cant do it in one single day... take time =)
you can think about it.... all what u need is patience... u cant get all what u want now... some kind of things take time
come friend sith here take a cookie i have Cindor if u want =)
Natural is a synonym for ordinary, logical, regular, typical or usual. I'm sure you must know the meaning of at least one of these words.
Exclusives and timed gimmicks just turn me away from companies and developers that use them,
I'd never buy an Xbox of any type no matter what gimmicks they try and with crap like "Rise of the Tomb Raider" stupidity they just lost a customer for life yes i'm one person but i'll never purchase their trash again after the exclusive deal with microsoft...
I'd rather just not play them than play them late...

Oh dear... using the r-word now. That's not cool.
I have heard nothing about when my platform is getting the DLC or If my platform is getting the DLC at all. This suggestion was to BioWare I done bantering with a bunch retards who don't understand english or commen sense. All they have to do is admit they made a mistake and say that it will never happen again. Until then they have lost my respect and so have all of you. Good Day!
So long ![]()
Oh no, how will Bioware get over such a huge loss. Your console will get the dlc content at a later date so just deal with it sunshine

Can you honestly say that you would have opened this thread if it had released on your console first instead?
Everybody knows these things are messed up somehow, but stop trying to bring "morals" into this.
We're talking about one of the vainest forms of luxury entertainment here.

You keep saying this as if it's self-evident. It isn't.The difference between this situation and your giant strawman is. I don't see what's so immoral about it... it's not even a new thing or exclusive to EA/Bioware. Bethesda and Microsoft have had a similar agreement for years, which effected the Elder Scrolls titles as well as Fallout. Maybe the OP is just poorly worded due to frustration, but this isn't anywhere near an "immoral" action.
And really, the bottom line is you have to wait one month to play the DLC... what's the big deal? They aren't depriving you of the ability to purchase the DLC outright (that still wouldn't be immoral, or "bait and switch," since DLC was never promised to you or anyone else when we purchased the game).
This is actually a good point. Nowhere is DLC guaranteed. I mean sure, it's pretty much a give in but no one says there HAS to be DLC.
Ultimately, it will cost them sales. A big chunk of their PS/XB360 players feel alienated (never a good marketing strategy) and many of the rest will be discouraged by the reviews and opt not to buy. Considering the PS market share, that may not have been their best decision ever.
This is more just "wishful thinking". Everyone who's getting the DLC later and complaining about it are still going to buy it. Look at how many people complain about Call of Duty and Assassins Creed games. They still sell a bajillion copies when they release. It's easy to complain. It's a lot harder to deny your impulses.
This topic is pretty silly, there's nothing that can be said here that will convince EA to drop millions of dollars in pure profit for a timed exclusive because DAIFAN is unwilling to wait a few weeks for dlc.
It's purely hypothetical.
