I was curious if other people experienced the same thing.
It seems that I can't hit lvl 28, I am stuck at lvl 27, with 126189 / 126189 XP. And that was even before finishing the DLC, I still had 3 quests to complete that most likely would have granted XP. So is it the level cap?

It seems like it, but it also seems like such a weird point for a level cap.
Yeah I heard that 27 is the level cap.
I didn't pay attention to leveling much during the streams I was doing but there was a point where I stopped getting exp from kills. Might be that I hit it? Pretty sure I was at 27.
That's discouraging. I usually hit level 24/level 25 just from the regular game.

Is it s random drop or is it the armour that the past inquisitor gives you as reward?

They should raise the level cap even more. How many points do you need to maximize any given class? Raise it to what ever that is & let people go wild.
I think its fine as is. I'd only be miffed if they didn't raise the cap with the next add-on, but I imagine they would.

Luckily, I went back to an earlier save and am letting the war table timer run out so I'll check when I hop in again. The timer's only 18 minutes for Leliana, 27 for the other two so shouldn't be long.

The bummer for me are the weapons;there are weapon schematics you can pick up in the final dungeon of the DLC(no worries, if you beat the dungeon you can re-enter it later to pick them up). The weapons look cool, but only have room for a rune placement. Otherwise, nothing;meaning other weapons pre-existing have the potential to be entirely better.

Yeah, such is the shame of unique weapons in Inquisition. If they allowed you to add your own grips/blades/hafts/pommels in addition to runes, they might actually be a match for the godly weapons you can craft.

Well, hopefully the next DLC corrects this. I want to have the best weapon I can while simultaneously looking unique and not sorta bland.
I also need some more bloody master runes of the type that add 32 damage to my staves. hahaha
As for the level cap, if already max'd people will start at 28 with the next DLC(first exp point will get you there). Cap could be anywhere from 32-35 depending on the expansion size.

i played the DLC twice and i didn't get the schematics. do you remember what the assignment was you did to activate the war table mission? i could have sworn i did everything in the dlc.
