great question.  haven't heard anything solid yet.

I imagine we'll hear about about this in tomorrow's stream, and perhaps the official announcement of ne MP DLC.

Unfortunately 'SoonTM' is a fairly flexible commodity.

I thought with the 50 challenge points last week, that DLC was inbound then.

I'm tempering my excitement at the moment in case the stream really is a plug for Single Player DLC + some usual MP.

Probably this. I'm pretty sure they'd advertise stuff when it is ready, but say nothing specific until then--for many good reasons.

Alienating the largest MP community would be a very bad idea by the DAIMP developers.

So, yes, probably, it'll affect MP. Just not for PSN.

Directly: Probably not, as it's a paid DLC. But it does contain new weapons, which I could see making their way into MP. Some nice ones too, so that would not suck.

The three new classes (and dragon fights) would seem to be the Dragonslayer DLC that Gamestop may have accidentally leaked.

Jaws of Hakkon is single-player only. There is no direct connection to DAIMP.

No direct connection but I presume that this dlc will influence the multiplayer in some way? I.e. weapons and gear being introduced from the singleplayer to the multiplayer?

Yes, the assets (all the Graphics etc.) have been made for single player would eventuelly find itself in multiplayer for free.

So the golden question is "When?" - and the answer to that may be announced tonight on the Bioware Twitch Stream.

I dont have the DLC but was told by a friend (who does have it) that there is new weapons in single-player, they mentioned a lvl 24 unique staff as an example of one of the new weapons

As I said in other threads, if not characters it could be maps, armour, weapons or even an Avvar faction which would count as assets from the DLC and would count as part of the exclusivity.
