Just picked up a superb cooldown amulet and I am wondering who I should give it too. My own char is a KE, so I don't really feel much need for it, though it might help me fade cloak faster. Should it go to a warrior? A rouge? One of my other mages?

I gave it to Sera myself, although that's more to do with me rolling three rogues (me as an Artificer, Varric and Sera) to take advantage of Opportunity Knocks and Flask Of Lightning.

If you ever needed to see why having two specs is unnecessary, take these three to fight a dragon.

Normally give this to the other Mages until something I deem as better for them is acquired.

Definately mages built with with flashpoint/crit to maximize number of casts of super spells like POTA, fire mine and static cage.

I usually give it to rogues or mages, rarely warriors. Whichever character has the ultimate skill that you wish you could spam more often, like Tempest flask sequences or mage Static Cages (though usually one Static Cage is enough to finish off any mob, even high level).

Rift Mage is the best user of the cooldown amulet. Rift Mages can potentially get unlimited mana regeneration so the only block they have is their spell cooldown. Or Tempest since their flasks have such long cooldowns.

If I'm playing as a mage, I keep it otherwise  one of the other mages will use it.

I usually give it to Varric or Sera, but I'll give it to a mage next time to use for rifts.  You can dispel the demons' guard AND disrupt ruptures?  (Facepalm)  Why didn't I think of that.

What he said. Rift mage is probably the best pick for CD amulet.

I was thinking Iron Bull to get faster reaver abilities.

Two-handed warriors get a cooldown reduction on crit talent.  Don't give it to warriors.

If you give it to a rogue, better an archer than a DW, since archer skills have a longer cooldown. If Sera is an archer, she's probably a good option since her tempest flasks also have a long cooldown.

Or, of course, a mage. I agree with everyone else about not giving it to warriors.

I like using it on my inquisitor necromancer.  I also have the beserk masterwork and so play around with simulacrum which is literally unlimited mana.  It is pretty insane and a lot of fun.

I've been under the impression that a cooldown amulet equipped on the Inquisitor will lower the cooldown for the entire party. Now if I could only remember where I read this.

Is this no longer the case?

@Brother Juniper

My understanding is that the appearance of cooldown reduction for the team is a UI bug.  Since the Inquisitor is the active player in the field the UI shows the modification on each of the other screens when you inspect your teams attributes.
