YEah, my guess is that you have to play it threw Origin. I don't think the last site allowed you to register it either.

Ok, I saw the thread in the BSN Help section, and it seems only the PC version of ME1 can be registered for an icon.

They added them in yesterday.
ME1 doesn't appear for me because they're having trouble recognizing disk versions of ME on console.

Basically, ME1 was pre-EA. Thats why there's issues.
If on PC, its linked to Origin now so its not hard to get recognized. On console though, that isn't a thing. I'd figure they could do something with achievements/trophies or save data, but I don't know what their plan is if they even have one.

Did mass effect upload any data to a bioware or EA server though? That is probably the underlying problem.
Achievements are a good method, the problem is that mass effect had so many different environments in terms of platform. They would have to account for all of those permutations for a single icon. I don't think it is viable.
