Not showing full on doggy style humping for one. For two I don't need to see full nudity in a video game. I didn't mind the boobs in inquisition but to me they felt a little unecessary.
The irony is DA:O sex scenes had this, just with underwear.

I doubt their Facebook account is anything to go by, though. Every post that has some complaint in it gets deleted from the official facebook page. Even posts about bugs.

Morrigan even put on a bra when she had sex.
So what you are saying is that there shouldn't be a feedback forum, really. Since not many people use it anyway. The majority of the fanbase are those that say nothing at all, and Bioware should listen to those people.
Just avoid Melca. He/she will always play down every criticism provided on the game. This is not first of this user's post. Calls the forum toxic...calls those who dislike the game/criticize it as miserable...which is ironic. Chances are...we'll end up being called miserable too.

The usual argument is that people are lazy. Even if the person she calls lazy is just complaining about a bug.

The characters know they're being watched.
They can't see the player, but they know he's there. Somewhere.
That logic, though I suppose it's more a statement of opinion than logic, does not seem to hold any water unless you can elaborate further. For one it can be applied to fictional characters eating, drinking, speaking, fighting, joking, etc. All involve fictional characters that carry out some act where a user may state "I'd rather go do the act myself than watch pixels get it on."
I sometimes laugh when a fictional character makes a joke, I do not chastise myself that the character is fictional and thus I ought to direct myself to the nearest mental asylum for having laughed at a joke spoken by nobody that exists. All of literature and art would be at once negated to the point of taboo.
Can you explain why sexual acts cause a specific unease or repulsion such that you seek to skip them (which you are perfectly within your rights to do so)? Are they not properly executed, very poorly done, or are you of the opinion that they have no place in the video game industry?
There is a very real difference between a joke and watching fictional people get it on. There's no reason that explicit sex scenes should be in games at all. They add nothing to the story and nothing to the gameplay. As I said, it's MY preference. If some other weirdo wants to watch fake characters hump each other that's their business but don't act like it's such highbrow art and story content. It's stupid smut to draw in loser teenage boys.
-__- ??? How can anyone seriously consider this among top rpg's when 90% of it is full of menial fetch tasks where absolutely nothing interesting happens?
Is this a problem with doggy style in particular, or would, say, reverse cowgirl also be a problem? Not showing full on doggy style humping for one. For two I don't need to see full nudity in a video game. I didn't mind the boobs in inquisition but to me they felt a little unecessary.
Its definitely a great game, won't argue there.
But I still think the greatest RPGs of all time are Morrowind, Fallout 2 and FF7.
Is this a problem with doggy style in particular, or would, say, reverse cowgirl also be a problem?
More seriously, I'm not sure why mature-rated games should end up anywhere different from where cable TV shows are. Do we see anything in DAI that we wouldn't see in, for instance, Outlander? Or is Outlander also stupid smut to draw in loser teenage boys?
(Everyone notice how I didn't use Game of Thrones there?)
Yeah, his complaint seems entirely arbitrary. Sure, nudity is used to very bad effect in a lot of games. And this is likewise happens in every other medium. Is his complaint against nudity in all art forms or gaming specifically?
There is a very real difference between a joke and watching fictional people get it on.
Please do elaborate, the point is entirely lost on me. Though I will reiterate that they are both fictional and to quote you "I'd Rather go do the act myself than watch pixels get it on".

You have still not grasped my point. What about eating, drinking, sleeping, farting, scratching one's arse even, etc. Are they to be excluded from gaming because they "add nothing to the story and nothing to the gameplay"? My question is why should sex be granted this taboo, almost primitive connotation, when they are within the same subset of acts practised by the human species. What is it specifically that differentiates sexual acts from acts I listed above in example? Why is brutal maiming or watching men burn alive screaming in agony from the fiery breath of a dragon permitted but sexual acts are forbidden?
but don't act like it's such highbrow art and story content. It's stupid smut to draw in loser teenage boys.
That was never my intention. Allow me to reiterate once more, your point was that because they are fictional acts they have no warrant at all to be watched or enjoyed. "I'm a person who finds it odd that anyone would enjoy watching fictional characters that aren't even real humans have sex" So...what you want Bioware to show a real porno next time? Hey I'm all for it! Jokes aside I was attempting to show that that can be applied to many acts in the game. Perhaps even the entirety of all gaming! That they are but fictional creations.

Makes me laugh how partially nude sex scenes or even homosexuals kissing cause an uproar and stomach churning, yet they're okay letting themselves and their children watch decapitations, amputations, eye gouging, guts spilling out and flesh and bone being ripped apart.

Any explicitly shown sex act, not just doggy style. I use that example because that's my most recent exposure to content that I felt was completely unecessary in a game. And media in general doesn't need to show sex but these days there's no telling that to people. Sex in media is used to draw in money because sex sells. It doesn't mean I have to like it though and I have the right to that opinion just as much as anyone else has the right to the opposite.
And for the record, no I wouldn't let my son watch content that was too violent or too sexual even when he's older. It depends on the kid when I think they're mature enough to handle it but certainly no younger than 13. If he's especially immature I would definitely push it longer than that.

My attitude to sex scenes in games (as with pretty much all media) is either do them properly, or don't do them at all. I'm perfectly happy with a fade to black after a kiss followed by seeing them in bed afterwards. But at the same time, I've no problem with actually showing two people having sex (as in the Witcher screenshot above). The problem for me comes when you're stuck somewhere in the middle - as DA:O was. No-one has sex while wearing undies like that. it was comically bad and utterly ruined any intimacy the scene should have had. If you don't want to (or can't) show sex in a believable manner, don't show it at all.
I actually think DA:I, from the two romances I've played through, does it pretty well. It doesn't try to show the actual sex, but at the same time, it doesn't try to hide either the fact that the people have had sex, or the fact that they're naked.

So if someone does not agree with your preference, they're weirdos. Yeah, that's cool. For the record, I have no issues with nudity/sex in games rated appropriately. I'm not a loser (though you're free to disagree), a teenager, or a boy. Call me a weirdo, I'm old enough not to care what other people think of me. I like waving my freak flag.
Personally use settings to lower violence/ gore in games, and attempt to avoid sexual content and profanity; skip some games altogether. And it makes me smirk to read the same tired memes coming from those defending pixelated sex.
It makes me smirk to read the same tired comments coming for those who apparently have issues with sex. Sex in media is as big a deal as you make of it, and some people like to make it a big deal. For the rest of us, it simply isn't an issue at all. We're adults, watching adult content that is a part of everyday, normal life. Therein lies the irony, sex is normal and occurs daily, the violence, not so much, but the sex is what's bad? Just seems to be more of the typical American cliche, sex=bad, violence=good. And yes, I'm an American.
Narratively the stuff about sex that matters can't really be part of an RPG unless you want interactive sex scenes and at that point you're making a very different sort of game.
....

And I quote: "So if someone does not agree with your preference, they're weirdos." Same shoe; different foot.
Also, for the record, I do have issues with profanity, sex, and excessive violence in entertainment. It is a big deal, as the current world state is in such great shape that the constant bludgeoning on morality is so very helpful, esp being seen as a "part of everyday, normal life".
While some viewers are adults, many are not mature nor adults. While these are a part of life does not mean they should be glorified and made the standard for any country or citizen; prefer higher goals. And yes, I am also an American; one that was proud to serve to protect all of or freedoms.
So note: you take issues with excessive violence, as opposed to (what might be perceived) as "normal" quantities of violence?
Given your position on this, I'd say the only logical conclusion is that all violence is bad.

Thank you for calling me a weirdo. Hadn't happened for a long time. FYI I'm 46 and female. I find in any game PLENTY of things that add nothing to the story and nothing to the gameplay, and still they are there and no one questions them. Like exploring and jumping cliffs. I feel they are needless chores, but what do you know, this game got GOTY for it.
You are immature. If you would be mature, you would just skip the 1 minute a sex scene takes (what sex? All I have seen is Dorians butt and lord it was high time to see some male butt here). You wouldn't do romances at all, because you would know they are not for your tastes. The "mature" part comes from understanding that games are not made just for you, and you are not some kind of a proto type of human being, something so perfect that we all should look, feel and act like you. Your opinions are not Gods word and thus better than anyone else, and definitely no one put you on the pedestal to look down on other people and judge them from there.
Obviously sex makes you anxious and quilty. Your business, not mine, but understand that it is you and it has nothing to do with rest of us.You say you do it rather than watch it, so do I, but if someone else liking to see some HINTS of sex in their entertainment it shouldn't bother you a bit. All these game with semi-sexual content are for adults (over 18-years old), and what little sex there it is you can see more sex in underwear advertisement on street. Do I care to see Geralt banging someone in doggystyle ( I did not even know he does it, but you do, so the interest is there, right?), no. Does it bother me, NO. Why should it? Let him! I doubt a single person watches it with a boner, it is so little what is shown.

Oh, I dunno. What if having high Stamina awarded additional approval after the act? That could add an RPG element to sex without going down the "Hot Coffee" mini game route.
I was going more for how the manner characters have sex is what's used to give narrative weight to a scene in e.g. film. The point isn't sex but how sex reflects on the characters, well, character. In an RPG that doesn't really work, unless you get to use the sex to define your character.

In the same way that most of the romance track content isn't really the stuff of an RPG, you mean? Most of the time you're either on the train or off it
