Will other ps4 players forget about the future of Dragon age DLC and buy The witcher 3 with that games DLC (since there won't  be delays) after hearing about the MS EA agreement? So much for GOTY. Still No real DLC yet. No wonder I am the only one on my psn still playing this. Knowing the future spoils the fun of DAI. Thanks EA.

Easy to say when you're not last on the list for gaming content. Think of Skyrim when dlc was released a year later after the xbox 360 and pc. I had an xbox at that time so I was fortunate to get it without delay. But I wish ps4 players would know already that they will have to wait due to company agreements over dlc and exclusivity..

Yeah it sucks. I'm a PS4 player too, honestly I'm a big fan of the series. But this DLC I can wait for, since it isn't earth shatteringly amazing from what I've heard. I'll still purchase it when it's available, hopefully before the Wild Hunt comes out

PS4 user here. Sure I'm pissed, but I just suck it up and go about my life. I also happen to have a 360 and can't figure out why they were left out too.

why are the 360 kids left hanging in the breeze with Sony kids? 'punishment' for not upgrading?

It's been known that Xbone would get the first story DLC first as a timed exclusive since before the game even launched. If you bought a PS4 for Inquisition and now you're upset you have no one but yourself to blame.

It's mostly because it feels like it's out of left feild. I didn't see it coming.

Bioware hasnt done exclusivity since Jade Empire and ME1. And once thy went multi-platform they never did exclusive DLC. So it hurts more since it all happened so fast.

First there is no word on if/when dlc will happen and then it's bam 'dlc coming out tomorrow and it's exclusive and we can't say if it will come out on other consoles!''

As a Bioware fanboy it bites deep.

Yeah? I've been a BSN forum lurker for a while and watched the game news sites and checked tumblr and kotaku gobbled news about the game religiously.

Heard not news one of if/when the game would have story dlc. How did you hear about it before me?

The only other Dev studio I respect as much as Bioware is Naughty Dog. I'm a sucker for games with good writing.

Okay, that doesn't make much sense, though.  Why in the world would a PS4 owner be keeping tabs on Microsoft announcements for gaming?  You can't really blame them for not knowing it was going to be exclusive.  I'm a PC owner and I didn't know, just for the record.

I just googled. And you're right! But I also remember post release that they refused to say if/when they would make story dlc. And it isn't clear from the 2014 e3 stuf that that wouldn't be just MP stuff or armor or something.

No. But as a consumer who has been on the BSN since before ME2... They have been much more open about this kind of stuff before.

Remember when we were anticipating Lair of the Shadow Broker? Or a DLC called Inquisition? And this time it was 'oops hey! Look what we did!'

I've been on both sides of this problem so I can relate. Will I think the PS4 will abandon DA:I in droves..... no, people didn't abandon Skyrim when it's dlc came out later, people haven't abandoned consoles because countries got this first. Is a few months really a big deal, i'll think people will find a way to live beyond this

I have a ps4, and I love it. I'll just buy Bloodborne while I wait for the dlc to come out Of course, they announced the xbox one exclusive deal a few months before inquisition even came out. So I had time to come to terms with it, didn't really care then either. Now... if it was a more earth shattering dlc, I might be a bit antsy. But I try to be patient about things.

 

What does irk me a bit is that the 360 users don't get access to it like PC or xbox one. Seems kind of dumb, but... I understand Microsoft's 'upgrade to it now or else!' mentality. Doesn't mean I'm gonna fall for it.

I actually knew about the exclusivity of the first DLC though I'm not sure how, probably because I hang out in these forums quite a bit. So whilst it's annoying it's not like the information wasn't out there.

I actually think its funny. I look at it this way the EA lost millions by having Titanfall exclusive to Xbox, and now Titanfall 2 is gonna be multiplat. And now, PS4( 20.2 million users- Xbox one( 11.6 million) yeah they lost huge in day one DLC sales( even future sales cause some players will be butt hurt about it). Me thinks that EA needs to go back to business school lol
