A lot of people seem to be comparing the new DLC to the Dragonborn DLC in The Elder Scrolls: Skyrim, so I looked up the DLC for that game and saw that there was also content for building and decorating a Manor/house. The reason I think of it, is all the empty rooms filled with cobwebs and broken boards in Skyhold. Maybe they might include DLC that focuses on completing the cleaning and repairs to Skyhold and filling them with decor?
So, maybe Hearthfire next?

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO
No more of this interior designer crap. All I really cared to switch out was the thrones.

I'm not necessarily rooting for it, just speculating what might happen.
I would like to get rid of the cobwebs and pieces of wood, though.

It'd be nice if the Skyhold stuff was just a minor addition rather than being part of a full blown paid DLC.

How on Earth can people compare Jaws of Hakkon to Dragonborn?

*ahem* It'd may be good to see more work on Skyhold, but I don't want a DLC solely dedicated to interior design/cosmetic/decorate stuff. I rather want a heavily story driven with a lot of character interaction (companions, love interest), and a lot of cutscene.

Can we focus on fixing the holes in Skyhold before moving on to slaughtering animals for wall decorations?

Seriously though, it's something I'd like to have, I'm just not sure how much I'd be willing to pay for it. Maybe it could be bundled with the Black Emporium, more Skyhold PJ options, more hairstyles, ect.

Yes, you could build a house/manor in Skyrim's DLC Hearthfire. But it was a long and tedious slog doing it.
But i don't think a DLC for Skyhold alone will blossom. But i would like to see something that will improve Skyhold what Inquisition failed to do properly.

Hearthfire like DLC ?
Inquisitor adopting kids ?
To quote Manslayer's Garrus :- "There a a lot of tokin' orphans out there."
I don't know about that but it is sure nice to have children other than Kieran.

I just hope the children in DAI is not as obnoxious like one in Skyrim. You don't know how much I hate one of Balgruuf's sons, Nelkir.

I would like to see more options for customizing Skyhold, but in a way similar to customizing Shepard's apartment in Citadel, as opposed to Hearthfire. So more it's an additional feature, but far from the central focus of the DLC.

That sounds perfect. I hope they might have something like that planned.

How else are we supposed to fix that gaping hole in the wall on the way to the war table?
Not to mention the dungeon with giant gaping hole in the floor!

Skyrim DL featured previous Dragonborn, JoH features previous Inquisitor. Ergo, they are the same.
Plus, you met tribals wearing fur in boths.

The dungeon they at least explained - there's a codex down there that talks about the structure not being capable of supporting construction, or something like that. Besides, it's the dungeon. I think the idea that the prisoners of the Inquisition ending up falling to their deaths is not the top priority in reconstruction efforts. It's a prison, not a motel.
Though the holes in the hall outside the war room have no justification.
