My purchases of Dishonored, Watch Dogs and Deus Ex confirm this to be true. It is intentional I don't mention DAI on that list.

You'd think I would learn one of these days. What great PS4 purchases I have made. DBZ Xenoverse - seemed fun, friends had it so I bought it on impulse; played for a week and there's nothing to do now. Destiny - pile of sh*t, nuff said. AC Unity - co-op missions! except the game had so many bugs I couldn't play co-op and haven't touched it since. Evolve - fun game but need full groups of people to play with or it is very painful, also the voice chat is so garbage. I may stop buying games at launch all together, until I see what kind of a life span they may have.

But the most crucial thing I wish I had known from the very start is that one does not need to hold the left stick button in order to sprint. It's a bloody toggle. It's not obvious, especially considering that in SP walk\run only depends on the stick angle and does not involve any extra buttons at all.
I figured this out early on, but only because I was conditioned by Singleplayer to hit L1 every 5 seconds constantly when running around.
I'll add one to the list.
I wish I had know about auto attack canceling with Sprint to get better DPS.

I kinda enjoyed Dishonored. It wasn't the biggest game, and it wasn't the most open game, but I thought combat was fun*, and choosing whether you completed missions stealthily or murderously had an impact on the ending. Why wasn't biower taking notes?**
*Disclaimer: I'd just finished another Skyrim PT so I probably would have found combat enjoyable in a game where you dual wield potatoes using only 1 button.

Ye, I did finish Dishonored as well and it was quite decent, but still quite far from what I expected from the hype.

Keep an item for each class (sword, mace, axe, 2H sword, maul and great axe). You may need them for a weekend challenge!
This. Not only for the weekend challenges but the regular ones as well. I got over 1500 kills with the Greatsword because it was my best 2H weapon for a long time, but when I got a better Greataxe, I salvaged it. Inquisition Greatsword FTW!
I'd also add the best staff for each element type as you find them.

I didn't know it until I read this. I've just been holding my stick down.
Luckily I'm used to feeling like an idiot lol
Hmmm, seems we are in good company, maybe this need a 'public service announcement'...

9 is hilarious. Also I must be an idiot but I could not for the life of me figure out how to cycle through different character's armors when I first started. All I saw were options for the Lego, and failed to see the arrow button.
Silly noobs.

I wish I knew just how much RNG hated *me* (and a few select others) before I got into this game. I have a friend who got his HOK ring after 2.5 million and I think its going to be like that for me too... Oh right, lets be positive for the new people.
RNGesus won't give you more than you can handle. If you aren't getting an item, it just means that RNGesus think you are so good of a player, you don't need it ![]()

This isn't something I needed to know before patch 6, but with the loss of The Room, when the banner has been placed at the far right corner of the Orlesian Chateau, I've taken advantage of the little camping room there. However, it has a window that I didn't notice until a red templar knight nearly pwnt me through it.

I got my blue and purple HoK at the same time yesterday. Today I checked my accumulated wealth that was at 200k.
Other goodies I've gotten weeks ago include PbtM, Griffon Bow, Lady Jocastas and Pyre of the Forgotten. Not too bad.

Please refrain from using the acronym DAMP. The developers have clearly stated that they wish for DAIMP to be the acronym, and by continuing to ignore their requests, you're not being supportive and making them feel unsafe.

Are you sure about that? On the PC version, earlier today, I was jumping in and out of that very window. It's a nice escape when The Red Templar Commander enters the room while doing his whirlwind thing.

Perhaps I was thinking of a different but similar window, I'll try that again...

"Sprint"? Loooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooool. Good joke.
I wish I'd known to save my money and not buy the game.
I thought the modes were "limp" and "trudge"
What is this "run" you speak of?

i wish i had known you that even though you can't remove runes/modifications from items, you can always put another one in place. (god, i played so long with a runeless weapon because i was waiting for the perfect one...)
i wish i had known sprint even works in mp
i never noticed it working except when mounted in sp, so i ddin't even try it. i always thought there were some boots with extra speed or something when other players "zoomed" by.
i wish i had known people won't bother to return to a treasure room you can't open and they'll keep fighting forward even though you're spamming f4
(i see your nr. 9 and raise you
)
.
.
.
*ahem*
what i still wish i would know is how the hell do people manage to hit mobs with fade step. i can turn during the 2 seconds, but it moves way too fast to actually hit any enemies. those youtube videos always leave me wondering how the hell they hit 5-6 mobs that are not in a single line
. if only it would autotarget closest enemies if you activated the spell while not holding a movement key.... (#teamPCmasterrace)
