Hi guys,

 

Spoiler tag for those who don't want Jaws of Hakkon spoilers, but I thought this one could be a pretty important thing to raise.

 

Jaws of Hakkon has introduced some new T4 crafting materials. The two I've found so far Veil Quartz and Avvar Cotton.

 

Both pretty good on paper.

 

Only I discovered a problem when I tried crafting armour out of the Veil Quartz.

 

The forge will tell you that Veil Quartz, for example, will give you an armour value as sturdy as Dragon Bone.

 

Don't craft it.

 

I've tried this with several schematics last night, and each time the armor (or shield) came out with a value of "0" once it was crafted.

 

Not sure about Avvar Cotton, yet. Or if there are any other new materials from the expansion, for that matter. But I thought I'd give folks a heads up, and see if anybody else had experienced this?

Good to know. Ill avoid it until its patched.

Bioware is working on the issue. For now just use it at the tint table.

I guess that'd be how I didn't find it. Wouldn't have thought to look in Patch notes for a DLC content issue.

Works fine with regular armor though so I'm good
