No pugs

Geth are no longer in existance as enemies whatsoever.
This would be a dream come true.
Enough with the nerfs...just buff the weaker **** and buff the enemies, if you want a level playingfield. I'm allergic to the word "nerf." Bioware tests new stuff before putting it in the game, right? Therefore, there should never have been any balance changes that decrease the effectiveness of a weapon/kit. If a particular gun or power is too powerful, too bad. Their error, not ours. I never got how that sniper rifle (I always forget the name) got into the game like that. I mean, it had splash damage, and everything.
If they do want to compensate for the overall skill of the people that play their game, they can always buff the enemies or add new enemies, like we saw with the Geth Bombers and Dragoons. Gimping kits and weapons is not necessary, just strengthen the enemy. That's what I do, whenever I feel like testing myself (and others). Also, so called "OP" kits and weapons are great for people that need to get adjusted to the game or a certain difficulty. More experienced players tend to shy away from such kits and weapons, anyway. So, there is a huge benefit to so called "OP" stuff.
EDIT: Another idea, buff the enemies' DPS. Make them hit harder. That way, you don't have to nerf anything. Smart players would be rewarded for implementing succesful tactics, and teamplay would be stimulated. No more Rambo's going off on their own. Just more teamplay, more attention to detail.
I wouldn't really say buff the enemies, just add in a few more difficulty options. One between silver and gold (Silver can become extremely boring before you could even be ready for Gold, so just to give a little more incentive to keep playing), one between gold and platinum, then one higher than platinum. (The first two are mostly for people who are just getting the game or buying it again for a different platform, because people are doing things like this still... Like myself getting the game on PC after playing a bit on the 360)
Other than that though, I agree with everything you said. Just make everything OP.
I guess just after playing Demon's Souls and Dark Souls, the phrase "It's only as difficult as you want to make it" is just something I've fallen in love with. If you want the game to be extremely easy, just play one of the easier kits. If you want to actually have a challenge, try something new and break the meta a bit.
And this just brings up the most important question of all: WHO CARES? It's a co-op game where everyone is fighting to survive. If anything, I WANT my teammates to have OP equipment. Now if this was a competitive game, then I'd completely understand the need to nerf somethings like the TGI, Harrier, AIU, or Reegar Carbine.
