You know, you get excess of Power points by the time you finish your game. How or where would you spend them? In a shop that gives you some stuff in return like rare materials, new schematics, etc? Could that be implemented in the Black Emporium DLC?
How Would You Recycle Power?

I was thinking of missed codex entries for lore addicts, maybe... or unlocking tiles on the Keep.

I'd spend them in a brothel.
(Kidding).
Umm.. I dunno. I really can't think of anything I'd want.

Unlocking more maps maybe? Smaller maps with special loots. The more power you have, the more maps open up to the Inquisitor through the Inquisition Map. I mean, stacking points instead of spending them like the Main Questline.

I'd say those can be used as tokens for community challenge. Like, 'when Community contributes 1 million Power points we release a patch for X'.
And then there goes a price list for all Community requests plus a vote for the priority of things to patch.

Experience. 1 Power = 1,000xp.
I would have rather seen power used for troop movements on battlefields. But that's just not how the game works, unfortunately.

Yeah, had they kept the Keep defense system Power could have been used to provide supplies and reinforcements if you couldn't spare the time to go yourself.
Otherwise, at bare minimum, you should be able to use Power to reduce War Table mission times.

I'd like for there to be a store for use of power points that would allow us to buy anything we might want or need. Everything that Teddy suggested and some of the things other suggested although I don't care to use them from a brothel. ![]()
Please let me use some of my 500 left over power points to make a very nice infirmary!

Use them to speed up war table missions. Like pay a certain amount of power to finish immediately.

I like the first one, but I'd love if we could use all those power points to improve Skyhold and complete all the reparations.
P.S. About the Inquisition tiles, some time ago they twitted that they won't be spoiler-gated forever.

This will interact a little strangely with the power you can buy, so the power cost and reward amount would have to be balanced, but the extra gold could be useful for people who like to buy some of the best gear.
Or perhaps an operation that gives you a good schematic or item upgrades or some rare materials in exchange.
It would have to be something that opens up very late in the game (or be limited in some other way), however, to prevent people from accidentally spending all their power before they can progress the story, so I'm not sure how useful it would even be.

I would have prefered it if Camps actually required Power to set up, aside from that first camp in every new area you enter. Here's my logic: while I can sort of see how establishing multiple camps helps grow the Inquisition's presence in a region, people are needed to man the camps and resources must be expended to supply them and so forth. So I would have actually had them COST the Inquisition one power point instead of granting one.
It wouldn't be a major burden on players and it would help reinforce the need to do at least some side quests, because even the most skilled player has to eventually retreat to camp at some point.
I would have also liked the option to spend power in order to set up supply caches in those levels where you can't leave until they're completed. Kind of like "OK, boss, we can get you as many supplies as you need ... but it will cost you."
Aside from that? How about just setting up statues, like they hinted at in the lead-up to Inquisition

Chore Table times can be reduced by setting the computer or console forward one day and then setting it back.
