I hope(very much) we've made our point about the faults of this DLC: lack of Solas story for some of us, generic fetch quests for others and so on.

I think it might also be worth it to let the developers know what we loved. "We want more of this, please!"

Personally, I loved the little quest "In Exile". It was about mages, it provided unique perspective on separation of mages and spirits, spirit teachers, and most importantly, it held a strong emotional connection for me: loneliness.

The character, the lonely young girl, had no friends, and her spirit guide, indeed, was the only one who loved her - or so she felt. You know, it reminded me of that old KOTOR1 quest with a lonely woman on Dantooine who had an unhealthy fixation on her droid and wanted him back. It is a little scary, yes, and it's supposed to be, but it's also beautiful, and here it makes a really good story. Not to mention that it also had a detective bit and some nice party member comments: Varric mentioning Kirkwall, Solas providing his 2c, and Cassandra, naturally, having her own strong opinion on the matter.

Honestly, I wish more of the side quests were like this. And I want to say thanks for this one, thanks so much.

Though it really makes no sense if spirits and mages can be separated that easily: it means all Anders' suffering and madness was for naught?

(There's also a small side quest about a scout who became an abomination to avenge his dead (boy)friend, but that one was fairly mundane/straightforward: you let him serve, or you kill him. Still, better than "kill three beasts, mark four points with herbs, congratulations, you beat it").

Does this DLC feel like it can fit into the main game and flow with the main storyline, or does it feel completely irrelevant to it, like an after game quest?
