As of now we only have one piece of gear that is based on the Tevinter armor already existing in game, and that is the Venatori Helmet. We don't even have the body armor schematic to go with it, it feels incomplete and there is no need for that. Where are the awesome hooded black armor robes and the masked robe set that Alexius and other Tevinter mages wear? Why are none of these amazing armors in game for the player to use. I'm sick of NPC's looking far cooler and more intimidating, I want to look like a Tevinter.

Please add these as schem's into the game. The more armor options the better! I'm the Inquisitor, I should look as good as the NPC's I'm fighting.

Bioware please add all the Venatori armor into the game.

Also, a throne to match with the Tevinter decor in Skyhold would have been excellent.

Nothing quite goes.

That goes without saying. More customization is key. Take the skyrim route, enemies should drop exactly what they have equipped.

Tevinter loyalist here. +1 for the OP.

I thought we would be getting Tevinter armor since there were already Tevinter decor and helmet :(

Honestly it makes no sense why it hasn't been added. Maybe with the Black Emporium update? If not I'll keep this thread bumped until it happens, or modding makes it happen.

Yeah, the Tevinter stuff looks great and it's a shame you can't use it yourself. I also want one of their spear-staffs.

I'm hoping that The Black emporium update adds it all, but if not it should be added in at some point soon along with other armor's that are missing. They tried to emulate Skyrim, but sadly dropped the ball on the far superior loot system of ES games.

For the same reason the InquisAdaar can't wear qunari armor.

I've been asking Bioware for expanded armor styles since the game was released. There are a lot of different armor styles already used in the game. All they have to do is make it also available for us to use.

Especially with Jaws Of Hakkon, they had the perfect opportunity to use the DLC as a delivery mechanism for new armors. They didn't do it. Not even the tier 4 armor schematics look any different to the tier 3 versions.

My guess is that our request for more variety is falling on deaf ears.

I do love the Venatori Spellbinder and Mage robes. The Mage staff is pretty cool too though I prefer the Spellbinder's staff.

Bioware seemed to prefer recycling the same armor style ceaselessly for the Inquisitor, or "allow" (as if we should be grateful for these ugly, ill-fitting options) us to wear the ugly ports, rather than let us have the legitimately fashionable NPC armors. The ancient elven armor? The fuzzy Ferelden soldier armor? Tevinter armor/robes? Anything? No. Lazy recycling only. I'm sick of looking at all the same styles with only very slight variations over and over in the armor crafting station. :/

It simply amazes me that our companions get way more armor mesh options than we do. You'd think it'd be the other way around.

I would love that, actually. Especially if you also got the schematic for it. There were a lot of armors I liked but we couldn't get.

Oh I totally agree. Some black Tevinter robes would look awesome on my mage. I hope they add some new schematics in the Black Emporium for such things.

The Keeper robes are pretty cool though, my Elven mage gets that as soon as possible and wears it for the entire game.

The new armor in the DLC is a Tevinter design, only difference is the dragon imagery is replaced by inquisition imagery. Now we just need them to add the rest of the venatori armor into game. Fingers crossed for the black emporium.

Yeah, the Keeper robes are the best of the Dalish-only armors (Dalish warrior armor is fairly decent, also). They're my favorite race-locked armor by far. Only issue I have with them is the broken feet on a male elf (which is always present, except when wearing thigh-highs) and the fact that, despite being barefoot, all our footsteps sound like we're wearing heavy boots. It's really jarring and annoying.

I was mostly referring to the human-only ports (though, the Legion of the Dead armor looks poorly-modeled/ill-fitting, too). The stuff we're allowed to wear looks like absolute garbage, IMO. And don't even get me started on DAI's fugly new Grey Warden armor. It looks awful on every race and gender. GJ, Bioware. I'll always be mad about that.

Yes I'm not a fan of the Orlesian or Free Army (or whatever it was) armors. I think the Grey Warden mage and rogue armors are a little bad but the warrior one looks OK (on Blackwall at least, he's the only one I've ever had wear GW armor).

I'd like to see Tevinter armors and robes, as well as many other armors and robes worn by other enemies throughout the game.

Some of the Ferelden Armors look sweet with their fur trim, and the armors worn by the mercenaries in the Western Approach (I forget their name, something Raiders) look amazing.
