I don't think it will be released exclusively in Russia so much as "beta tested", then to 'Murika, Kangarooland and EU.

Looks like standard F2P business to me. I mean, just look at all of those premium unlocks and rentals. Part of the fun of multiplayer shooters comes from balance which F2P shooters rarely provide. (Only ones that come to mind are Team Fortress 2 and AVA)

I'm not sure. I mean, the menus do appear to be fully English already, but it wouldn't be all that unmicrosoftlike to have the Halo 3 engine running on pc in a commercial product like this and then give us neither this nor the game proper.

I was actually expecting something else like, dunno, Microsoft releasing Halo 5 for PC as well as the MC Collection.

It's not coming to the United States or any other Western (including Australia) market. Microsoft confirmed that it is a Russia-only market.

And steal potential XBone sales? Not on your life. Halo is likely going to be a console exclusive for the foreseeable future, as it has been since Halo 3.

Halo CE on the PC is really the only good one. Halo 2 Vista is crap.
