Katari or Hunter. Love both of them.

Hunter.
Alchemist is my favourite class for other people to play. One Alchemist per group should be mandatory for a game to even start - best banter, hands down.
P.S.: I get we're all pr0gam3rs here, but why not just say "character"?

It's the predictive text input that corrected my "Class Kit" into "Class not". Sorry for the confusion.

Keeper - Archer - Elementalist - Alchemist, in that cycle too, to lvl 20, then move to next, rinse repeat with different builds..

Templar by far, I have x5 the number of promotions with that kit compared to everything else.
I also enjoy Archer (because PBtM and lollongshot), Elementalist (I like supporting with Barrier, but can't stand the Keepers worldview) and Reaver (Running around hitting people with huge ass claws - whats not to like?

Necromancer (mages), Assassin (rougue), Reaver (smackdown)
I also enjoy but to a lesser extent Keeper, Hunter, and Templar
Playing Archer puts me to sleep, the Elementalist I find to be a bit "bland" run-of-the-mill as a mage, and Katari is quite funny but only as a distraction because I did not invest time into thinking of his strategy and play him somewhat impulsively, like I think he is, so I just charging bull + spin to win all the time and hope I don't go down.
If I "tank" in a game I rather do it with a Keeper or Templar rather than AW or Lego.

the funniest experience I had playing him was probably wave 5 demons: I just did my regular long shot thingy, the other 3 players were somewhere up front. Then suddenly I get the DC and a little mini-me of his popping under me and becoming their plaything.

Bosses are the real problem, all others are just die in agony (if you pick Opportunity Knocks of course). Long Shot under some circumstances can score 5k+ without potions.

What usually happens when I pick those classes, is the game drops me into a squad halfway through a level that already has two archers.
My fave to play as though would be a damage focused keeper, if I was ever allowed to use such a thing without burning in hell. I don't use one, but it would be nice to have the option to.
My fave that I do actually play as would be either between Katari and Necromancer, though I am starting to like the skill involved with successfully using an Assassin.
Special mention for Lego too, I really feel like I am holding the team up when I use him. Pure defensive build all the way - Shield wall, walking fortress, Combat roll, and Taunt.

My favorite right now is the one I hated the most and thought was the worse designed character a while back: the Hunter. I just couldn't figure out how to play that class, I tried throwing knives, grenades, trap, and that chain thing. Nothing was working, and I thought this was the worse kit. Enemies would gun for me, so I avoided aoe damage and died more than I can image. Then I tried stealth...
Free crits until I gained enough cunning to crit often, I just fell in love with stealth for many reasons. One, I didn't need the keeper which is one thing I hate when I hear people on perilous say they need a barrier. If you need a barrier go back to threatening. Crits equaled stamina that's efficiency at it's best, and I could get very close to enemies so I had a damage bonus, and lastly I could run with three offensive skills and get rid of that fall back plan.
Before then Necromancer was my favorite and the only class I thought I was ever going to play. In my early days I would just pop walking bomb like I was at a birthday party. However, now Hunter, followed by Assassin and Alchemist are my favs.
Stealth. Plus I don't really need will power, I'm a mage but just don't tell anyone else

Bow of Cruel Redemption witn +39% critical hit bonus, +20% critical hit bonus ring, enhanced ring of Long Shot, Pincushion and several Leaping Shots before. But even without it I can regularly score 4k at lvl19. Build. Willpower 46, Cunning 112.

Archer is a faceroll Kit, The easiest OP Class, but you get bored after a while.

Keeper, followed by Elementalist, followed by Necromancer.
What can I say, I like the mages ![]()
I play my Keeper aggressively, usually wading in with the melee, knocking down archers with Fade Cloak. Chain lightning with the ring and Fury of the Veil to contribute to the damage. Fade Step for extra damage or for repositioning myself back to the ranged or melee depending on where I'm at so I can reapply Barrier. Mana Surging a crowd of mobs so the warriors can shatter them.
It's a risky playstyle, but one I've had the most fun with in Threatening and Perilous. If I mess up, don't see a group of archers aiming at me while trying to Mana Surge a group of melee mobs, get caught in a Druffalo's charge, or the most frustrating one for me, get that little bug where the Barrier circle aims at an enemy rather than on you, then I'm usually bleeding out on the ground. Hasn't happened too often though!
