This is weird. It is still unavailable for xbox one.

Didn't Xbox One get it a day before anyone else?

Anyone on an Xbox One WITHOUT Xbox Live Gold is lacking it, I think.
As long as you have a Gold account, you can download it. Its a mistake MS needs to rectify. I'm just guessing though.
I have a One and a Gold account but I haven't downloaded the BE yet so I haven't checked.
thought it was a pretty cool free DLC, yeah tis a shame there no new armors or weapon designs. But the new unique hammer and the story behind it is pretty darn sweet.
Would've loved a more barbarian look to our Qunari Inquisitors, but perhaps in a paid DLC down the line, we shall see!

Only if you have Xbox Live Gold.
Otherwise its unavailable.

It's finally available.
It's finally available.
Really? It still says unavailable for me
No.
I downloaded Dragonslayer by mistake.
It was in the place BE had been in need to get my glasses checked. What's the point of downloading that when I don't even have Gold.
So, um, it's been an entire week since this dlc was released and it still comes with a price tag on Xbox One (a subscription for gold). Anyone have any news on this? I think it's ridiculous that Microsoft feels the need to force this service on us. I don't play online, and therefore have zero reasons to subscribe, so why are they making it necessary for single-player content?
Its a mistake. Gotta take it up with them.
Several people already have, resulting in no response...Its a mistake. Gotta take it up with them.

Also, DAI dlc, including black emporium, are being advertised on the Xbox One home screen, so I don't buy that they haven't noticed. I honestly wouldn't put it past Microsoft for this to be some sort of business ploy. Remember how they were practically the only seventh generation gaming system to require a paid subscription to access netflix (a service that required payment to begin with)?
*shrugs*
Could ask Bioware to look into it. Message someone.
I was quick to blame Bioware, but at this point, I don't think it's fair for me to have done so, because it purely seems to be stemming from Microsoft policy. I've been keeping an eye on the forums about this, and I'm definitely not the first person to raise this concern. Every topic concerning this dlc has had someone mention that it is not available for non-gold members, and not a single dev has responded. I'm sure they're aware of it and likely unable to do anything about it*shrugs*

Always reach out. MS can make mistakes too. Not everything is big bad boogeyman corporate. And if it was, Bioware can bring this up. Message a dev, ask them to pass it on. Keep hitting up MS. Hell call them.
Like I said, from what I've read (http://forum.bioware...e-gold-members/) people already seemed to have done so. I don't want to harass any dev more than what they have to deal with already (knowing from experience with this forum how much fan-entitlement they have to deal with). It's been an entire week, and, as we know from awards, reviews, sales, and such, this has been an immensely popular game. I can't believe that Microsoft would be actively advertising this dlc and not know that it is currently only available to gold members.Always reach out. MS can make mistakes too. Lol also, sorry if I'm sounding argumentative with you. Being a Microsoft consumer has been kind of trying in the past couple of years and they have absolutely shown themselves to be the 'big bad corporate boogeymen' with the policies they tried to impose before the immense consumer backlash. However, I understand and really appreciate that you're trying to take an amicable, collected approach to this mixup
Best way to go about it is the amicable collected approach and no worries, you don't come across as argumentative. You come across as someone who simply wants the DLC presented as it should be. Even as someone with a Gold membership, I do too. And I haven't even downloaded it.
But I assure you. Letting Bioware no won't cause any unneeded stress. They'd rather have more of their consumers accessing their content than being frustrated that someone sent them a message or two.
I have Gold, so I didn't have this issue. I also didn't need to log into the DA servers to get it to work. My understanding is that PC players do have to log in once to use the BE. I'm wondering if the Gold issue on the XB1 is related to this. If the DLC needs a login to work, then it in effect has online DRM. And the way XBL works, anything that requires that kind of back-and-forth with servers needs Gold.
I would ask why do PC players have to log in, if this is meant to be totally free DLC. This may or may not be the root of the Xbox issue. It's a good question nevertheless.

It's there now. This time I made sure it's the right dlc before posting on here. ![]()
So problem solved?
So problem solved?
Yeah. Someone told me it would be a week after release which at the end of the day it is.
Question.
There is only a limited amount of dragon materials. Do they respawn or are limited to the 20 of each webbing and scale and 40 bone that is currently in the store?
