I do too in other games that have a CC that's half way decent.
I just go for it anyway, hahaha

For DA2, the Black Emporium was a welcome addition. Bringing it back for Inquisition is a smart move. I'd hope all Dragon Ages going forward have such a feature.
I hope ALL Bioware games have this feature going forward.
Hell, I hope ALL games with CC come with this feature

Might as well, unless it potentially causes issues.
Sunset Overdrive also let you switch up appearances post-initial CC offering. You could even switch gender/sex. hahaha
bro. its Kotaku, you know the same people that said dragon age Inquisition was bad because it had to much to do...also it does not really say anything the Black emporium..which i never really used myself in DA 2, but to each there own.
You never used anything? Not the mabari or the freebie items in the giveaway chest, or even the potions, like the one that resets abilities?
I never actually used the mirror, since I was cool with my Hawke and saw no reason to change her, but there's some nice stuff littered about the shop.

I wonder if there will be more to the Black Emporium, kinda like DA2's.
By the way, the Sera in your avatar looks better than the actual one in game.
was kind of funny today i jused the mirror in da 2 because i noticed the stubbles of my character where a different color then his hair and that kept distracting me. Male characters are harder for me to play so i don't want distractions then
.
I will be playing Witcher 3 in May. When DAI releases some substantial hardcore story DLC (with cutscenes) then I will be back playing DAI, creating my new female elf/mage character.
Witcher 3 doesn't come out until 5/18, I think BE will come out before then since it says early May. JMO.
Right now, it's little more than a generic fantasy game with Bioware characters in it.
In all fairness, I would probably play that game.

I would too. But I would hope for more from the company that also brought us Mass Effect.
Nothing Bioware could release DLC wise is gonna compete with The Witcher 3. Besides, Bioware's fanbase will still be playing Inquisition by that point and the Black Emporium is something I imagine quite a few folks would desire to use(hence it being made for this game beyond its debut in 2).
There are always new games. I'll be playing the Witcher 3 but that doesn't mean I won't be back for DAI, or the DLCs or for weekend events in multiplayer. There are few enough decent games in this genre, many players will be playing DAI, TW3 and PoE and why wouldn't they? ![]()
I don't play the Witcher, but I do watch the sex scenes on YouTube. That almost counts as playing it, really.
Nah.
I'll get Witcher 3 but to be honest I'd enjoy it more if you could change the guy's appearance.
So hopefully we can manhandle the urchin this time. Looking forward to it!

What other fantasy games are like Inquisition?

Anything made on the infinity engine.
The Witcher series is terrific and I look forward to The Witcher 3. Geralt's looks grow on you - I find his character very appealing and wouldn't want to change his appearance one bit.
As for the BE - this is a great addition - but I really hope given the much maligned (deservedly so IMO) hair choices, there will be some new ones in the CC. I kind of doubt it, sadly ![]()

Long hair? Thats actually long? Keep dreaming. I've wanted it for years but have yet to see anything that fit the description barring the longish braided ponytail in DAO.
I read the Witcher books and I really enjoyed them but for some reason I could never get into the games. Just not for me. But they do have amazing art and sometimes I'd find myself using hairstyles or armor ported into other games (Skyrim, DA:O...), the design is very very good.
There is nothing bad to say about CD Projekt...

Pretty, much.
Although to be fair, gameplay wise, it is very good. If it was more female friendly, I might have bothered to finish it.
I don't have any interest in playing the Witcher at launch so when this comes out maker willing I will be able to get a PS4 and this game again on PS4.
You know Dragon's Dogma's CC gave you every Hairstyle in game at the start and yet DAI cant give us Blackwalls or Cullens for male characters or Cassandra and Josiephines for Female Characters and you cant tell me they wouldnt work in game because they would quite frankly B-Ware was lazy with the Hair options in DAI.
I am looking forward to The Witcher 3 and when I get it it will be my game of choice until B-Ware releases quality SP Dlc.
Dragon's Dogma is built completely differently, and every hairstyle shouldn't be available anyway.
Characters lose their uniqueness when you can create a clone of theirs.
