As an anarcho-tribalist myself I like people who say "**** da police!" and "**** the State".  The Avvar seem like my type of people staying in tribal societies and doing their own funky thing without all the masks, and court intrigue, and wasting the people's money with elaborate palaces and bullshit like that.

 

I don't need a KISA.  Give me a barbarian.

 

And if possible a kilt.

 

Male or female, don't care.  Just give us someone not so ****** fancy schmancy.

 

I hated Orlais.  Hated their masks.  Hated the extravagance.  Hated everything about them.

The statistics, because I keep track: since they started writing them in 2000, BioWare have done full romances with forty humans, eleven aliens, eight elves, two half-elves, a Tiefling and a one-eyed Qunari. And zero dwarves.

 

I'm not saying it will never happen, I'm just saying that I'm not going to hold my breath.

I can take or leave the LI part, but a properly barbarian companion sounds right up my alley. Just imagine the things s/he would approve of.

I could definitely see Avvar playing a role if they follow up on the Warden civil war that they are setting up. A game that takes place in the Nevarra, Kal-Shirok, and Anderfels region would be just north from being thick in the Avvar area, so it could definitely work out. I'm just not sure where the direction of the series is going to go. I can see it either going in that direction, in the Solas-follow-up direction, or in the Tevinter/Qunari direction. Hopefully they stay focused and don't try to cram all of that into one game.

Like that's as bad as Corphy to me.

 

I want someone that's sort of swing an axe or sword first and ask questions later.  I want someone who would rather die than have someone rob them of their freedom.

 

I had to replay the Winter Palace part again because of a bug and I was just sick at the opulence and felt like, why are we helping these people?

I also really felt for the stone warriors--one of the things I hated about the game is how many people were turned to stone and were conscious for thousands of years.
