No. Jaws of Hakkon will be released on last gen and PS4 after the exclusivity period ends.

From the Twitter thread:

Too much work to post all the tweets tweets, but Mark confirmed in replies to other people that Jaws of Hakkon will eventually come to Xbox 360, PS3 and PS4.

He also can't talk about other platforms because it would violate an agreement that is currently in place.

EDIT: We may actually hear something about a release next week. Here's a snippet from a Kotaku Q&A earlier today:

From the Kotaku Q&A, thought I'd share it here:
Q: I'm not the only one, but I will also ask about the timed exclusive DLC.

Since gamers who get the short end of the stick are justifiably annoyed about timed exclusive DLC, what would you say to those who are thinking about boycotting purchasing the DLC completely? That's really the only legitimate form of protest they have available to them.

Aaryn Flynn: Great question - I was expecting it  :)

Jaws of Hakkon is a timed exclusive for the Xbox One and PC (through Origin). This approach allowed for a lot of support from Microsoft and Origin in launching the DLC, so did have that benefit for the team, and we appreciate the partnership. However, as a timed exclusive, it is definitely coming to the game's other platforms, and based on our internal discussions I expect we'll be announcing more details next week.
I hope no one boycotts the purchase, as it's a pretty fun adventure that WILL be available on all platforms. That said, everyone is free to vote / message / communicate how they feel, so if that happens it happens. We're definitely paying attention.

Yep, it's coming.. it wouldn't make sense to make the game on last gen, but not DLC's. Bioware wants their DLC moneys, right..

Yeah, I mean, I don't love it, but I don't mind. We'll get it eventually (I'm on PS4) and it's looking like I'll be playing it post game on my current playthrough anyhow. Definitely eager to play though!

According to a gamespot interview with Aaryn Flynn, its release date for PS4 might be announced next week. No announcements for PS3/XBox360 to be had so far.

"Jaws of Hakkon is a timed exclusive for the Xbox One and PC (through Origin). This approach allowed for a lot of support from Microsoft and Origin in launching the DLC, so [it] did have that benefit for the team, and we appreciate the partnership," BioWare general manager Aaryn Flynn said as part of a Kotaku Q&A session today.

Jaws of Hakkon was released this week only for Xbox One and PC as part of an exclusivity arrangement between BioWare owner Electronic Arts and Microsoft. The terms of this deal prohibit BioWare from even disclosing the length of the exclusive period.

So far, the Jaws of Hakkon expansion has been confirmed only for Xbox One, PC, and PS4. BioWare has not announced any plans to bring the DLC to last-generation consoles such as Xbox 360 or PlayStation 3.

What I don't get is the bit about help from origins. It's just EA's own online store nothing special.

It's the gaming community in general. The word boycott gets used a lot, but people aren't always serious about it.

Lol @ people boycotting the purchase of a DLC because they have to wait a bit.
That's so sad.

It's a simple question of numbers - Bioware gets paid, either directly or through nebulous "partnership benefits", to artifially delay the release of the product. Microsoft benefits (because only idiots would keep buying Sony consoles if they keep having to wait for the games), and so does Bioware since people like you will happily buy the DLC anyway despite these arbitrary impositions.

Do you think this benefits the consumer in any way? How would you feel if approached the manager of your favorite restaurant and paid him $100 to not serve you?

If you want this practise to stop, Bioware would have to lose more from lost sales then they get paid by their partners for exclusivity.

The word boycott gets used a lot, but people aren't always serious about it.

Naturally - we are all dragon age fans, and want to buy the DLC even though we may disagree on the details. A boycott would take the backbone to sacrifice something you want to make a point.

That analogy though. Are yous seriously comparing one-time preferential treatment to discrimination?

I'm not going to boycott a restaurant because someone paid the waiter 100$ to serve their table first, especially if I supposedly like going to that restaurant.

Stop playing the victim and pick your battles.

I was afraid something like this would happen, you know. I knew somehow my poor last gen console would fail me. I knew gaming companies would laugh at my misery and leave me out in the cold, wallowing in my own self-pity. It was like I would be playing the first Mario game when everyone else had long since moved to Super Mario.

But I decided to get myself back in control. I put in extra hours at work. I saved part of last year's tax check. I stopped buying shoes and bags. Then I did it. I moved with the times. I upgraded my xbox for the first time in many, many years.

I bought a next gen.

At full price, I might add. You don't nearly have to spend as much as I did. And at some point, though we cling to the past on this board like melted cling wrap, we are all going to have to come to terms with the fact this is going to happen more often every year until you no longer have any new games to play.

You're going to have to make a choice. Suck it up and pay for a new console or be content playing the games you have now, forever.

People will buy new gen when they want. Because DAI is cross-gen game there shouldn't be no need for that, since everyone paid same price for the game after all and DAI should work on PS3 as well as other games work on it.

There is not really any point for me to buy PS4 at the moment. It'd be loss of money, loss of space and loss of games. I won't probaply buy PS4 until my PS3 breaks or ME4 is released, since there is not really point to do that before those.

And the DLC is coming for old gen as well for sure. It's just timed deal with Microsoft that it isn't released for other consoles yet.

Well, they cant continue to focus on last gen consoles. They have to make the jump sometime.

Sometime, yes. But not essentially mid-game.

I very much doubt I will be able to play DA4 on my PS3 when it comes out years from now. I'm fine with that.

It would not be okay to make the jump with DAI content. Last gen console users already purchased the game at full price with no indication it would affect future content availability. It would be wildly unfair (and borderline false advertising) to move the goalposts now.

A company needs to decide before a game is released on a platform whether it will be available for that platform. If they didn't want to put some of their focus on last gen consoles, the game shouldn't have been released for those consoles in the first place.

The decision was made, money was accepted, and it's too late to change their minds about the current game. For the next game, I'm assuming they'll make a different choice and that's perfectly fair.

ETA: But this is all hypothetical because Bioware said the content will be released for the game's other platforms. :)

I would say that most gamers in general are lot like  the  crowd in this unforgettable clip from the Life of Brian  https://youtu.be/QereR0CViMY

The point is most of us been Bioware fans too long to admit that Bioware is not the herald of andraste but a very naughty boy will probably still sing "always look on the bright side of life" when EA decides  sometime FAR in the future (when we're all dead I hope) to turn BW into an FPS studio

EA/MS can take their timed exclusive and shove it up their you know whats. All this has done is anger the PS4 owners who are the majority of people playing the game.

ME4 will be another Xbone 1 exclusive just like Halo so I'm not holding my breath it will ever appear on the PS4.

I doubt it, BW doesn't need exclusiviness to sell copies of the game.

Do you think this benefits the consumer in any way?

No, it's obviously anti-consumer. Thing is, the benefit of me playing the DLC still far outweighs the inconvenience of playing it two months later, so there's no logical basis for a boycott according to my consumer habits. And considering it's video game DLC, I have scarce moral horror to speak of.

People like me are what MS and EA are banking on, of course: that there are enough PS4 users who will buy it anyway eventually instead of boycott. But acknowledging this doesn't really change the basis behind my buying logic, as doing so would just amount to "wanting to show" MS and EA at the cost of my entertainment.
