Is it easy to break out of bounds like with the plate trick in Skyrim, or something else? I usually don't go for breaking out of bounds in games, but if they've hidden areas in this one for it it could be cool/worth it
Weird green mark on the ground in the hinterlands.

Hmmm, for another time then
Thanks !
A couple of recommendations...
Crestwood - Interesting lakes to explore as well as great views of the Dam from underwater. Take selfies with the broken statue in 3 Trout Lake. Climb to the top of the stone halla.
Emerald Graves - Cool ruins to explore in the north as well as a huge valley to the west to run around in.
Western Approach - Explore the bottom of the Abyssal Rift as well as a couple of fortifications to explore.
Forbidden Oasis, Emprise du Lion and the Hissing Wastes are pretty boring out-of-bounds, you can safely skip them.

There are generally 2 ways to break out-of-bounds. Find a seam, gap or low point in an invisible wall (boundary area) and get through or over it (these are rare). Or, and more commonly, ride up against and parallel along your left side to an invisible wall and dismount into the wall (and hopefully through it).
It's tricky, and many give up in frustration finding just the right space to "pop" through. The dismount trick works pretty well if you have, say, a tree growing in the middle of a an invisible wall. Dismounting through trees generally seems to be more successful.

I'm glad I'm not the only one who tries to go in out of bounds areas! I've not been to that area in the Hinterlands. I'll have to try to find it!

I was exploring the ourskirts of the hinterlands and I found this weird jade green mark that looks like shield. It seemed pointless though but when I got off my horse on it I seemed to teleport to this tiny floating island. It was all pointless though and the only way out was fall a very long way to my death, then I would be back near where I started.
There is also one in Crestwood near the camp that is close to Old Crestwood. It doesn't do anything from what I've seen though.

Remember that we were suppoused to be in the Redcoiffe castle courtyard.I'm just enjoying this tapestry inside a fort (other side of the broken bridge) you can't reach, where it will never be seen
Mind blown...
And all achieved on Xbox One, so no cheats involved...

Got the pic. I'll post it here so others can see it.
Can't say I have come across anything that resembled that. Interesting.
That looks like an artifact from light map rendering.
