It seems like the Dragon Age series is revealing more god pantheons as the series continues. Besides The Chantry and The Maker which seems more like a modern faith based religion. We started the series with Ancient Tevinter Old Gods Pantheon with them turning into Archdemons and starting blights which we know so 5 have been defeated with 2 more as we know of left sleeping. They have been basically been the Big Bads of the series. Then we move on to the Elf Pantheon which is broken into two groups both of which exist but only one group have made a appearance in game being Mythal and The Dread Wolf. They may or may not have some relation to the Old Gods Pantheon either being on and the same, there rivals Forgotten Ones, or separate all together. Now we know The Avvar Pantheon not only exist but it somewhat bridge a connection or theory that all these gods maybe in fact extremely powerful spirits from the fade. We know when a spirit dies it is later reborn in the fade eventually confirmed when some Avvar do not mind there god being slain because he will just be reborn later. So we now have 3 major seen deities in Thedas, while the Avvar gods do not seem to be in a type of crisis they appear to be going on with the elf gods and old gods. So is there anymore Pantheons in Thedas besides these 3 and The Chantry? Who does the Chasind worship or the seers?

I'd rather Bioware start fully fleshing out 1 pantheon than add more gods. It's already getting complicated enough with the Tevinter, elven, Andrastian and Avarr gods.

So I'm going to be a party pooper right now and say the Chasind are closet Andrastians.

I think it safe to say that whatever "gods" these tribes worship are most like likely spirits/ demons.

As far as I know, Rivaini seers don't worship deities (besides the maker). Just like the avvar they have a respect for spirits to the point where they develop amulets to protect/prevent spirits from being binded.

The chasind, avvar and alamrri were originally one, but split a very long time ago. I'd imagine they all have similar views regarding spirits being their guardian deitties.

When you boil down the human beliefs in thadas you can divide them into three main groups. You have the Rivaini as well as the ancestors of the Navarrans and Orlaisians were animists, the Northern Neromenians who became the Tevinter and came out of the north beyond thadas brought maker worship with them before they started to worship the old gods and of course the tribal confederation that became the Alamarri, Chasind and Avvar brought their gods out of the distant west with them.

I think its cool that there are multiple pantheons. Makes sense to me anyway with how we operate in the real world.

Hakkon was not a god. Merely a spirit that saw the Avvar beliefs and shaped itself to match them.

It is very likely now that the Old Gods are basically the same.

How was Hakkon not a god? He seems to met the requirements that would fit a good. Powerful? Check. Ancient? Check. Immortal? Technically yes if you count reincarnation. Godly Role? Winter and War Check. Worshiped by followers? Check. Hakkon is no mere spirit just like Mythal and The archdemons are no mere spirits, seeing that the former inquisitor could not even defeat him. While Avvar gods may not be on Old Gold level which we truly do not know, the fact that they have a religion makes them a god. A powerful spirit with worships is no different then  egyptain or greek gods in someway or form they are powerful spirits. Gods or at least lesser gods in Thedas all seem to be spirits with a greater degree of power then common spirits and are unique enough to name themselves rather then just be named after a purpose. So saying Hakkon is not a god is like saying Mythal or Old Gods are also not gods, which is fine because technically they are only Gods if you revere them as such

These gods have been part of the setting since the beginning. They just didn't get a lot of attention.

Nope, the "Old Gods" are established as ancient dragons. There were 7 of them, and at this point in Thedas history, 5 are dead. There are 2 more that can be corrupted into Archdemons, 2 more blights.

I think that's adding simplicity to it that the Old Gods don't deserve. Certainly they take the form of dragons but what they actually are is still up for debate.

Dragon Age = Everything is Everything.

Everything is magical, everything is mundane. All in different ways.

All the gods are people, but also spirits, but also gods, but also not.

Just depends on how.

"Hakkon is not a god."

"Hakkon is a god."

"Hakkon is a minor god in the grand scheme."

"Hakkon is a powerful spirit."

"Hakkon, like anything else, can be killed, and is thus just a special mortal."

Whatever.

There's been slowly growing lore of the possible world(s) even 'before' the elves, and I'd like some content to explore that when reasonable :)
