Yes.
It has been up the past two weekends and down during the weekdays. When you hit "Options", the main screen with the marching mages/templars turns into a full static page promoting the MP event that weekend (others are getting a combined MP event/new DLC screen, but since the DLC is not available on PS4 yet, we're not getting that particular screen).

There are no full screen promos at the start of the game for console gamers. They come when you exit the game.
Strange I am getting them on my PS4 when I start the game & they are annoying. I don't get why they couldn't stick with the small MP banner they had originally. Is the full page static advert supposed to attract more people to multiplayer?

This could be an amazing add on if done right. Like having a scene like the Templars and Mages. Maybe if it's a Darkspawn DLC, you can have Darkspawn dancing around a fire. Something to that effect

Well, that's weird, because I could swear I've seen it gone on weeknights when I go to play SP (logged into the DA servers). It would be weird for an "MP Weekend Event" splash screen to be up the entire week when the challenges are only on the weekend.
You're talking about PS4 just like I am, right?

If the ad was animated and fullscreen, like the title, instead of a letterboxed still with text on it, like now, I would actually be fine with it.

I am playing on PS4 and this evening they have a full page static advert for a multiplayer expansion (new maps, weapons etc).

Hmmm, well then. Sounds like I am mistaken (it's possible I actually signed out of PSN last week to SP without getting MP invitations, which would explain lack of that screen).
