Concerning the difference between conscription and alliance. I just wish the game would differentiate when I conscript rather than ally with a faction.
I know it's silly, but it's a tad bothersome to hear the game repeatedly say that I "allied" with the templars. I did not "ally" with them at all. I conscripted them, aka doggie-leashed them. My character did not truly support the templars one bit, he just wanted their powers and nothing more.
Hm, I imagine my mage elf that conscripted them will find this annoying soon as well. When you conscripted the mages, Fiona mentions that the mages are quite angry at you.
The only thing that annoyed me was inconsistency such as Leliana with a romanced Warden saying she didn't know where they were then giving specifics on where they went it annoyed me
If anything, the remaining mages should be happy that the mage inquisitor has leashed the templars. The remaining mages should be glad I didn't support a sector of mages that threw them into this mess and then joined the venatori for added insult!
